Rating: Summary: 20" Viewable Monitor not 22" Review: I thought I was getting a 22". It is only 20" viewable, they all are regardless of brand. I hope the monitor does not break down.

Rating: Summary: Very nice! Review: I'm impressed. Compared to my old 21" monitor, the Diamond Plus 200 takes up less space, has a larger viewable area, and gives a much crisper image. The difference is immediately apparent. Let's give some measurements: The old one took up 20.25" front to back. This one takes up about 18.5" front to back. Screen size on the old monitor: 14.5" x 11.5". Screen size on the Diamond Plus 200: 16.25" x 12.25". Nice! My screen resolution is at 1600x1200, and the fonts look just as big as they did on 1280x1024 before. If I want to go with small fonts, this monitor goes up to 1920x1440, and things are still readable! In summary, I highly recommend this monitor.

Rating: Summary: Best CRT I've ever used Review: There are a few reasons why the Diamond Plus 22" stands out from other large monitors. First, many large monitors are deeper than the diagonal view space. Not so with this monitor. Viewable area measures about 20" and depth measures around 19". I am replacing a Gateway packaged 19 inch monitor and am pleasantly surprised to find that this monitor is much shallower than the 19" while providing much more vieable area. Second, as monitors get larger, many manufacturors tend to curve the screen out to save on costs. The Diamond Plus's screen is absolutely flat, and because of this offers unprecedented picture quality. A few nice features: Mitsubishi includes a 3 port USB hub in the back of the monitor, cleaning up the mess of cables from the back of your computer. Also, while I don't currently use the feature, Mitsubishi included the ability to plug a second CPU into the same monitor and switch via a button on the front of the monitor. These little additions make spending the extra dollars worth it for a wonderful monitor.
