Summary: Just like a digital tv for your computer!
Review: I was able to get this monitor for [$$$] after rebate, not the price listed. This monitor is worth [$$$] or more; the picture quality and flatness must be seen to be believed. This monitor could be used for graphics and movies without a problem. I am exceeding pleased with this purchase.If you're looking for better quality, look no further.

Summary: Samsung and Dellilah visit the tower of Babel
Review: I would like to start my reveiw with a direct quote from the illustrious instruction manual included with this unit, "Set the front of your monitor to face the east if possible". And the wisdom continues, "The colors, bend and tilt of the screen may change according to the installation direction". Not having a compass handy I just put it the way I liked it and it worked anyway. Does a standerd monitor really need drivers? Me thinks not, but I somehow installed them anyway by totally ignoring the directions on how to do it. Despite the lousy instrution manual and the flakey drivers this turned out to be a fine monitor. The colors are rich and the detail is sharp and the price is right. It smelled like hot plastic for a couple weeks, but hey, who am I to complain - it works great.

Summary: No problem with XP Software
Review: I'm still waiting for LCD prices to come down, so I didn't want to spend a large amount of money for a monitor. Samsung had gotten good reviews, so went with the 17" Dyna Flat. Didn't even have to break out the drivers diskette, XP found the correct Samsung driver, and monitor was up and running. Have been very happy with this monitor. Not a gamer, but do work with some digital photo's. Resolution and size is perfect for my needs. Would recommend this as a good second monitor, or if running older hardware, make this your first until you get that LCD.

Summary: it works fine
Review: I've been using this monitor for 2 months and I am happy with it. The picture is clear. I'm using it at 1024x768 at 85 Hz (24-bit colors). The screen does not flicker, colors are ok. I think this is a good choice, given its relatively low price.

Summary: An Unbelievable Bargain!!
Review: I've owned over 20 different monitors, mostly Sony or Apple Trinatrons. I needed a second monitor for one of my workstations, so I decided to take a chance on the 753DF - I figured it couldn't be too great for the price, but I could use it to store tool pallets to keep the Sony clear for image editing. Imagine my surprise to find that it is truly an excellent monitor! Bright and clear, with loads of image and color adjustment controls. Looking at it side by side with the two year old Trinatron, it is much brighter, with better contrast than he Sony, though perhaps not quite as sharp, due to a larger appearing dot size. Anyway, it is a great deal for the price, and when I saw how good it was, I bought two more of them!

Review: I've used some pretty expensive monitors before, and the 753DF easily competes with every one of them. The picture quality is excellent... I was truely stunned the first time I saw my desktop. Even after this long of using the monitor, I still notice how sharp and clear it is. The flat screen really makes a huge difference -- once you use this, you just can't go back to a normal CRT. The colors are very good, and the OSD gives you a lot of flexability. Plus -- this might sound a little weird -- it doesn't seem to collect nearly as much dust as my old monitor, so it apparently doesn't generate nearly as much static. The only drawback? It doesn't have very good support for high resolutions. But the picture quality and the price more than make up for this... if you use 1024x768, you certainly won't be disappointed. I don't even think you can find another flat screen CRT anywhere near this price... but if you could, I'm betting it wouldn't be nearly as good as this one. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Review: It is an excellent monitor with fine resolution and clear display of characters. But it lack of dark tinted black tube and made the colour displayed not saturated enough.
Overall, the monitor is a best choice at this price range.

Review: it looks "flat" outside. but it is not really flat inside. and the 0.20 dot pitch is only horizontal. but it is still one of the best at this price range, especially when there is a rebate.

Review: Its a great monitor if you can find the driver. Which I can't. The samsung webpage crashes IE every link I click, and I've wasted an entire evening trying to find a driver for it and it still wont work.Im buying a different brand next time!
