Summary: Very Satisfied
Review: A friend of mine told me about this monitor because his company bought him one for his work place. I went to my local retailer to look at it and was very delighted to see the quality of the picture. I compared it to a Viewsonic and Mitsubishi which were right next to it. The KDS monitor had a higher quality picture and was priced a lot less. Take a look at it everybody!

Summary: KDS VS-21E massive size + low cost
Review: I bought this monitor in March of 2000 and it's now July 2001. It has been a wonderful monitor, except for the heat (but all 21" put out tons of heat), It's starting to flicker so I called KDS and they said they would ship a new one to me right away and replace it. Found out they have no questions asked 3 year warranty. I was very impressed. I mostly play Diablo2 and watch DVD's on it. and it's on 12 hours a day, for the price you can't beat it.

Summary: You will hate it if you have used flat screen monitors
Review: I bought this to be a companion to my 2-year old 21" flat screen monitor in a dual monitor setup using the ATI Radeon VE video card. The decision was based partly on its price, partly on the KDS' nice warranty and partly on the reviews at this site. It turned out to be a bad decision, not because I got a bad unit which had unsharp text and graphics but more importantly because I just couldn't adjust my eyes to the screen curvature. If your eyes are already adjusted to a flat display, then you will shun this and all other monitors that have a curved screen. If you have never used a flat screen monitor before, I think this may not be a bad choice for an upgrade from your existing 17" or 19" monitor. However, with flat screen monitors costing just slightly more than curved screen ones, and the price differential narrowing each week, I think you owe it to your eye comfort to get a flat screen monitor, especially if you work several hours each day in front of one.

Summary: Outstanding value
Review: I had the $$ to get a GOOD 19" monitor and started shopping for one when I ran across this one. It's as cheap as an average 19" monitor and after reading other reviews I went for it. It's not flat, but I have no problem with the quality for the price. To be perfectly honest, there is a bit of "zig-zag" on the left edge of mine, but, again, I can't complain AT ALL given the price. The extra space is a breath of fresh air for the power-user. And, depending on your graphics card, you can go up to just about any resolution the human eye can bare. If you absolutely have to have a 21" monitor and want a good value. buy it.

Summary: Great 21 Inch Monitor
Review: I purchased this monitor from Amazon.com about a month ago. I really could not be happier with it. It was a little disconcerting to open the box and not find a AC cord OR a monitor cable. However, once I got those set up and did the color calibration, I was in business. Very large desktop that is very easy on the eyes.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: I read a few articles on this monitor in various magazines and went to a retailer to view the product. The picture quality was outstanding. I shopped the monitor everywhere and Amazon had the most competitive price out there BY FAR! I am very satisfied with the product and recommend it to everybody.

Summary: Excellent value; Why even consider a 17" or 19" monitor?
Review: Over the years I've had lots of PCs and equipment. When I read the reviews before I bought this item I was a bit confused. Other reviewers made it sound like there would be installation issues, and that adjustments had to be made for crystal clarity. I didn't have to do anything but plug it in.
How could anyone who bought the KDS 21" VS-21E have anything but rave reviews. It's awesome! I will never buy any other monitor for any PC, for myself, or anyone else. Goodbye 17" and 19" monitors. If people ever figure this gem of a deal out smaller monitors will become extinct. KDS, you really outdid yourself! A most excellent price and value!

Summary: Well worth it
Review: Purchase my monitor 03-00 and it has worked great. I have a TV tuner card in my computer (as it also my TV)and the picture is great on the monitor for such an inexpensive as this one.
