Description:

With an ultraslim profile of only 3.5 inches, the Sceptre PT18W 18-inch active matrix TFT LCD monitor takes up a very small footprint on your desk--a great benefit when you have a desk full of equipment. Providing flexibility plus other innovative features like digital and analog compatibility that maximize creative options, the Sceptre PT18W monitor is equipped with a viewable image size of 18 inches. The extra-wide viewing angle is 160 degrees horizontal and vertical, permitting multiple users to see the screen without having to sit directly in front of the monitor. It's ideal for any office that demands true flexibility and fine resolution from their monitors.

The Sceptre PT18W's pivot capability allows you to view the screen in either portrait or landscape mode, assuring crisp, clear images. The maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 delivers sharp images with antiflicker and static-free operation. The PT18W features practical up-front controls for brightness, contrast, horizontal/vertical positioning, color temperature, and recall. Other features include an NTSC/PAL S-Video input, a pure USB hub with one upstream port, four downstream ports, and stereo speakers with amplifier.

The Sceptre PT18W comes with its own stand and may be conveniently wall- or arm-mounted with the mounting connections included in the package. It's both PC (Windows 95 or 98) ready and Macintosh compatible with the purchase of a separate adapter. On-the-desk dimensions are approximately 19 by 19 by 3.5 inches (without the base), and it's lightweight enough (29 pounds) to push around as needed. The monitor parts and labor are supported by a one-year limited warranty. --Barbara Price
