Rating: Summary: Many years of refinement... Review: Sony monitors have been around forever, but I've been working with different generations of Sony monitors for the past 4 years, and the latest Trinitron is nearly perfect. The image is sharp and clear from center to edge, and if there's any curvature in the screen vertically or horizontally I can't detect it. They also finally got the controls right; a four-direction button adjusts brightness/contrast by default, and is also used to adjust the other settings when the on screen menu is active. A detachable monitor cable would have made this monitor perfect, but it's only a minor annoyance. It's not the cheapest monitor around, but it's a Sony, and you know the Trinitron CRT still will be looking great long into the future.
