Summary: Beware
Review: This company recently stopped selling computers but didn't tell their customers, nor did they cancel the orders or refund the charges for orders not shipped yet. So beware. It's safe to buy from Amazon.com, no doubt, but if your monitor is dead after Amazon's 30-day warranty, you may be wishing you hadn't bought this.

Summary: Terrible Image
Review: This is the worst LCD monitor!! I purchased the KDS Rad-5 two weeks ago, and I was not happy with the image quality at all. After connecting the monitor to my computer, I couldn't see what's on the screen because the image just kept jumping up and down. So I tried a couple of things to try to fix the problem: I used the auto adjust and it didn't work; I pluged the monitor into another outlet and it didn't work; I connected it with another cable core and it didn't work. Finally I gave up and returned it to Amazon for a replacement. The second one I got worked ok with regular applications, like word, excel, and other graphics applications. But the image was not crystal clear like you would've expected from a LCD. In fact, the image was even worse than that on my old CRT monitor. The lines on the screen were clearly visible and the colors on some of the images were off. The worst part was when I use the internet with DSL connection. The image started to jump up and down again and the colors were totally off. So I called the tech support, and all they could do was to tell me send it back to the manufacturer and get another one. After all these problems and hassles, I finally gave up on this monitor. The price would've been a good value had it worked.

Summary: Worst Monitor Ever
Review: This is, by far, the worst monitor I have ever seen (including the 14" Sony I first purchased 15 years ago). The color temperatures were all bad, the font colors were not uniform, the text was fuzzy, there were very pronounced vertical lines on the screen giving the image a "choppiness" that was flatly unacceptable, even for my 6-year old who was to use the monitor. I downloaded the latest drivers, no help. I tweaked every setting I could, no help. I connected the computer to another, good LCD and it output just fine at the same resolution and frequency.

The display was also very dim compared to my other LCD (Dell FP2000) and notebook LCD's.

0-stars if at all possible. Look elsewhere.

Review: This monitor is everything people say it is and more. Compared to the price of other LCD monitors, it is truly a bargain. Simple hookup, (plug in & go!), clarity, sharpness, brilliance of colors, looks, space savings, adjustable tilt, it has it all, far as I'm concerned, and I believe it to be the least expensive LCD on the market today! (Less than $... delivered, thru Amazon.com 6-5-03)

Summary: Very Sharp
Review: This monitor is not only extremely portable and thin, but the clarity is exceptional. I didn't realize when I purchased this item just how nice it is. I have heard KDS is a great name, and now I see why.

I recommend this product to anyone and everyone

Review: While I liked the monitor, enough to buy a second one, I just changed my opinion entirely. The warranty needs to be read carefully. My first one went on the fritz after a 16 months and will cost me 180 dollars to repair because the warranty is only 3 years SERVICE, not full parts/service. After working tech support for to long, i just don't trust companies that put out warranties of less than 3 full years parts/service.
