Review: I use this monitor at work and use 1280x1024 resolution. The colors are bright and the screen flicker free. I'm pretty happy with it.

No pun intended but this is a bargain for anyone that works with graphics & has no time for distractions. Visual comfort with that little extra> good pricing!! Easy to set up, plug n play..If you have an older system, NEC has an easily downloadable driver for this NEC90 monitor. BUY IT NOW!!

Summary: acusync sinks to the bottom
Review: We purchased this monitor and found out that it had a fault when it arrived, however we checked our video card and the rest of the system first. Because of this we did not return it under warranty until after the 30 day period for returns. So now we have to pay for shipping from east coast to west coast 55lbs. I recieved a very unsympathetic answer from the customer support and will now be consulting a lawyer. The new monitor seems ok now....but I wonder how long before we have to pay out again. If I had paid a little more and got a monitor from the local pc shop, I would have had no problem returning it and no shipping....as I have with other faulty components before. Shouldnt the point of online shopping these hard days for the internet merchants be to assure people that it is better than the local shop? Well, next time I need something I will buy local.

Summary: Great Monitor
Review: When I bought a couple of these for work, I fully expected to do some serious rearrangement of our desks just to get them to fit (not that we have messy desks or anything [smile]). Much to my surprise I was able to fit them on replacing the 17 inch monitors with very little effort. The quality of the image is great, it works fantastic with my ATI all-in-wonder card and chugs away 9+ hours a day while doing flash and html programming...

Review: While the NEC 19" monitor is bargain priced and has a rather vibrant display, it is not manufactured well at all. After 6 months of normal use (5-8 hours a day), the monitor just flat died. As if that was not frustrating enough, the NEC service department made it worse. You can call their 800 number and learn nothing (not even the hours of operation!), or go to the support website and be amazed at the total lack of information (no service locations, no warranty info, nothing).I would have to advise any Amazon readers to seriously consider buying another brand of monitor over this one. I have had a 'bargain' Philips/Magnavox for years, and have been extremely happy with it.

Summary: Works and looks great
Review: Works great. Plug-n-play. No problems. This black monitor has worked perfect for the past 2 months. Dell has free shipping, so it was a great bargain. Text and images are sharp. Great for watching DVD movies on. It's not a flat-screen (slightly curved glass), but that's not really a problem.
