Description:

Early Adopters Pick: January 2003. The world's first 30-inch presentation LCD monitor.

NEC-Mitsubishi's LCD3000 breaks new ground in the presentation display market as the first 30-inch LCD display. Ideal for exhibitions, advertising, information display, and public spaces, the LCD3000 is equipped with the latest LCD technology developed just for these areas of use.

The LCD3000 sports wide viewing angles at 170 degrees horizontal and 170 degrees vertical. Its low 25 ms response time produces crisp, clear video. The LCD3000 features digital and analog interfaces, a horizontal frequency range of 31.5 to 75 kHz in analog mode and 31.5 to 48.4 kHz in digital mode, and a vertical frequency range of from 58 to 62 Hz. It has a contrast ratio of up to 450:1, and can be used with cables of up to 100 meters in length with no degradation of picture quality. Additionally, the display includes composite-video, component-video, and S-video interfaces, two RCA stereo audio inputs, and an M 3.5mm PC audio input. It also has an audio output for optional 2 x 7 watt speakers.

The LCD3000 uses 30 percent less energy and is 40 percent lighter than similar-size plasma displays, making it both energy-efficient and easy to install and transport. It was designed to comply with all current standards for VESA mounting for large-format displays, and the housing can easily be removed for incorporation into existing spaces.
