Summary: Amazing Value and Quality
Review: I recently recieved an Envision 7100-si from Amazon.com, and I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I used a 17" CRT prior to this and the difference is night and day.
First, it arrived in perfect condition. There are no dead or stuck pixels - a common occurence with many lcds. The monitor itself is simple, and elegant - the silver frame can go well in either a business or home environment. Setting it up was a snap - literally. All you have to do is attach the monitor to the base!
The plug and play worked perfectly - the monitor was recognized by Windows and installed easily. The auto adjust feature set the display parameters on the monitor perfectly.
Now for the important things - the picture is amazingly clear and crisp - it has never been so easy on my eyes to use microsoft office applications. The only monitor I have found comparable is the Sonys which are catastrophically expensive (that was the other one I was looking at), and so I can't recommend buying those because they are just on par and more expensive with a lesser warranty (See below). The native resolution of 1280*1024 takes a little getting used to, as it makes icons smaller than the typical 1024*768 that many people use. The sharpness of the picture more than makes up for this, though, as well as several options in Windows that allow the user to change the fonts/appearance for maximuum comfort.
The blurring effect that plagues many lcds does not come into play whatsoever with this monitor. I tested it with several dvds, which looked amazing and there was no ghosting. I also fired up several graphically complex and fast paced games (like serious sam, half life, unreal etc...) and did not have any ghosting issues with those or with slower games like Warcraft and Diablo II.
The last thing I would like to mention is Amazon's amazing policy of letting you return anything within 30 days. Thus if a monitor does arrive with dead pixels, they will take it back. I strongly recommend this, because no one wants to open up a monitor and have a stuck pixel for life - beware lower prices at places like Best Buy, Staples et al... because they often will not accept the monitor back either at all or without a 15% restocking fee (unacceptable in my book - the monitor should be flawless on day one or your money back).
Further, Envision has a generous 3 year warranty on parts and labor, and extremel friendly tech support (which I tested before I purchased this monitor - I never waited more than 8 minutes). All in all, this monitor has no drawbacks (even more so when purchased through Amazon and their no questions asked return policy). I highly recommend buying this monitor, or at least trying it out - I don't think you will ever want to go back to CRTs (especially for the price).

Summary: Nice Look & Nice Price
Review: Purchased the Envision 17 LCD from Staples and couldnt be happier.It plugged right in and has been fine since day one.It does have some ghosting when scrolling but nothing that bad.Overall picture is great and I like the design of the display sleek silver and black. When I combine the fact I priced matched it to Amazon(389$) thru Staples. Then used a Staples discount coupon and monitor had a 100$ rebate from Envision dont think I could have found a better deal for a 17inch LCD for under 300$

Summary: Mine Broke
Review: I have had this monitor for a year and a half before it broke. Although it comes with a three-year warranty, it's still inconvenient to have to send it back and not having a monitor to use while it's being repaired. (And I have never heard of a monitor can be broken down in less than 10 years.) The repair was relatively quick. But my monitor come back, while completely functional, with the power light still not working....

Summary: Good plain LCD
Review: Ok, so it's not super-thin or anything special, but it works and it works well. I've used it for a long time now, no issues. Run it in native resolution and there's no fuzziness; good sharpness in scaled-up resolutions (like Starcraft at 640x480). No ghosting, but I haven't played Quake or anything on it. I use it for general office stuff, Quicken, Starcraft, and also as a TV with the Viewsonic TV-VGA adapter thingy ("ViewSonic ViewBox TV Tuner Box for Monitors" (VB50HRTV)). Overall, very happy.The good:
- It works as expected, no problems with image quality
- No dead pixels on my unit
- VGA input The bad:
- Short cord to the power brick, so brick has to stay on the desktop. I just mounted it on the back of my desk.
- Black isn't 100% black, really only noticeable with the room lights off at night. Not any better or worse than any other LCDs I've seen (including Dell laptops).
- No DVI. Not a problem for me. The ugly:
- The bezel (plastic part around the actual display) is thick. I'd buy another.

Summary: Had it for 6 months in my office and I love it
Review: I ordered this for my office 6 months ago. It has been perfect. It was easy to set up and the image quality has been great. I prefer it over a 17 inch LCD HP Monitor I bought later for home.

Summary: 7100S - GREAT MONITOR!!
Review: I've had the Envision 7100S for about 3 months now and couldn't possibly be happier!! I was worried about dead pixels - as some other reviewers have mentioned - but it came out of the box in perfect condition and has performed beautifully ever since. The space I've saved on my desk is priceless and it looks great as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor to anyone looking to make the jump from CRT's to LCD's.

Summary: Can't do any better than this
Review: This was, simply put, the best purchase I've made in quite some time. I wish I had read some of the other reviews before buying it, however, as it would have saved me a couple days of concern over having not gone with a "big-name" (and more expensive) product. The picture quality is stellar. I had ghosting issues early on, but, as did another reviewer, discovered that a video extension cable was the real culprit. I got rid of that and ... *whammo*. It's like looking at a painting. And I am extremely particular about video display, in general. I stare at these things for 12 hours a day, on average. A refresh rate on a CRT monitor of less than 85Hz gives me a headache. I almost always go with top-brand equipment, but just decided to take a chance in this case, knowing that I could always return it. No way that's gonna happen now -- this thing is mine! I have nothing but good words to say. It's thin, it's light, and it works the way you'd really want it to. I have none of the problematic pixels other reviewers have reported. One thing to be aware of, though: Make sure you change your refresh rate to 75 or 60Hz BEFORE you plug it in. Doing so may save you from a world of woe. Also, I can't comment on the durability of the product, as mine is still quite new.

Summary: Great value/Great look/Good picture
Review: The Envision 17" LCD is my new TV -- I needed something small for a city condo and after comparing prices, found the Envision to be the best deal by far. It was about $300 cheaper than the next 15" LCD TV, and now, it is about $600 cheaper. By next year, these will be everywhere.

Summary: It is not a good product
Review: I bought Envision EN-7100e 9 months ago. First time ship me a defected product. The second time ship me a good product but it were broken within 8 month when I only use it around 5 hours per week. The quality is bad.

Review: Easy right out of the box with XP home, instantly recognized as a PNP montitor. Driver was recognized well when XP was told to update the driver from the floppy.
