Summary: swell!
Review: Very happy so far. I was a little worried because of the other reviewer who stated how horrible the pixelization was on his network, but he may not have had the correct driver or kHz. I don't know why he wouldn't love it, mine looks great and the value is superb.

After physically looking at them in the stores, my final choices were between the ENVISION 17" and the SAMSUNG 150MB 15" flat panel. While the Samsung had so many inputs (S-VHS, Antenna, RCA, RGB) and is physically beautiful, the Envision has a bigger screen (only one input sadly- RGB), and is cheaper yet still has an excellent picture. Also, I have to agree with another viewer who stated "recommend for all but the avid graphics user". Flat panel is very pleasing to the eye but still not as sharp as some full size picture tube monitors (at least the ones I've seen).

Summary: Totally satisfied
Review: I don't know how they sell it at this price, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I played Quake II with it and could not believe the picture quality! I see no downside to buying this monitor.

Summary: Replaced two 19" CRT's
Review: I've had my two Envision 17 inch monitors for just over a week now. I was a little worried about bad pixels based on the reviews. I'm happy to say both displays look great. I replaced two heavy 19" CRT's with these lightweight monitors. My desk is much less cluttered and they are much easier on my eyes. You will be pleasantly surprised when they arrive in small lightweight boxes. They do look best when driven with a quality video card at 1280 X 1024, 32 bit color resolution and 75 hz refresh. Using XP turn on the cleartype technology and you will have a great looking display for a great price.

Summary: Wow! Great value!
Review: I had ordered this monitor knowing I could return it if I didn't like it. I was skeptical with the (...) lower price than other similar models. I was shocked at the picture. It was great! I am a heavy computer user at work and I have a much more expensive 17" LCD there. The Envision monitor seems like as good or better in picture quality and it is brighter. The shading variation is minimal and it is easy to position the screen to get rid of it. Highly recommended for all but the avid graphics user.

Summary: This is a great monitor
Review: I've been using my Envision for more than two months now and I love it! I put it through comparisons with numerous other models and remain very satisfied with my purchase. I really don't see how someone could possibly write a poor review of this monitor unless they simply don't understand monitors very well.

Summary: Outstanding Quality
Review: I was skeptical about geting the most inexpensive 17" LCD I found until I went to a local store and matched it up against several brands I was more familiar with. There was no doubt in my mind that the Envision EN-7100e is as good or better than any more expensive 17" LCD monitor on the market. Now that I've had a few weeks to use it I am happier than ever. The picture is very clear and the features are great. I particularly like the reset function. Whenever my playing with contrast, brightness, or colors gets too out of hand, I can simply select the reset function and go right back to the factory settings. I will definitely take a good look at Envision when I buy monitors from now on.

Summary: Can't Beat The Price!!
Review: For the past 3 months, I spent hours desperately researching various monitors to replace my 15" Packard Bell CRT. Of course, I drooled over the LCDs, but I figured that was a pipedream due to my limited budget so I was prepared to settle for a 17" CRT. Lo and behold, I was able to find the Envision 17" EN-7100 LCD for waaaaay less.

Great picture, leaves me a lot of room on my desk, and did I mention great picture. I say go for it!

Summary: Envision 17 Review
Review: It took awhile to get here, and I must say that I am not as impressed as the first review. I have a Sony 15 inch (I think I paid under ($) for it) that I was going to replace with the Envision. After setting it up in my office, I found it bulky compared to the Sony and not as sharp. Within a day, I moved it into one of our associates office, who did appreciate replacing her CRT. I initially purchased it for my office but quickly pulled my Sony back. I am happy with the purchase, just didn't feel it lived up to the hype on these reviews. There are alot of flat screens on the market these days and the prices are coming down like everything else. Take your time in your selection.

Summary: Excellent for the price
Review: I bought this at COMPUSA today. The monitor's image looked very sharp. With fine texts due to its 0.26mm small dot pitch. The only problem I found is somehow the bottom part of the screen is slightly brighter, which wouldn't be a problem unless you are so picky. The base also is not not tall or bulky so the screen is not much higher than my old 15", so I don't need to jack up my chair in order to have my eye looking down toward the screen. All in all, this one beats the more expensive Samsung SyncMaster 770 TFT (which I had and sold) hands down.

Summary: You get what you pay for
Review: The old maxim applies very well to this noticeably low end product. My supervisor bought several of these monitors to replace the tired old 17" CRTs we had around the office and, upon installing them, instantly regretted it. While the dead pixels that plauged most of the screens were irriating enough, the 'pixel jitter' that afflicted every one of the monitors was murder on the eyes. The latter effect was a result of the poor design of the monitors and the low quality electronics used in the monitors' analog to digital converters. There is a reason why Envision can undersell every other manufacturer (...) -- corners were cut in design and manufacture of this product
