Summary: Best MP3 I've heard yet !
Review: I have listed to 4 MP3 players, and the Pine D'Music is the BEST sound quality I have heard yet on such a player. The Ex Bass EQ puts makes it much more rich sound sound than the Diamond Rio! The Voice recording for over 2 hours make it real handy for work. I can even email the recorded voice files. This thing is Sooo easy to use. If you love music on the go, buy this one.

Summary: Classical Music Experience!
Review: I have to say, that this Pine MP3 player is the beast of all players! Dont give me any of this Diamond Rio rubbish, the Pine SM320v is the king. I found the music to be clear and crisp, and with such ease to download. I highly recomend this player to anyone who interested in purchasing one. Take my word for it this player is the ultimate beast!

Review: i live way out here in the philippines.. i went here on amazon to chekc out the mp3 players.. this pine was one of the best i.d seen among the ones presented.. it was one of the cheapest ( ), it had voice recording (very useful for recording stuff.. i.ve used it for band practice) and it was great for jogging! ( )

Summary: Great MP3 Player - needs more memory
Review: I own the sister device to the Pine MP3 player, the D-Link DMP-100. When I first bought the device, I couldn't figure out how to download songs into the player. I spent 30 minutes on hold with the customer service dept. before they explained how to set the parallel port to "ECP MODE". After that, downloads were not a problem. I was a bit disspointed that 32mb's translates to about 8 songs (max.) But the sound quality is TERRIFIC. One of the nicer features is the built-in equalizer. When I bought my new computer with Windows Me, I encountered major conflicts with the D-link software. Their customer service suggested I download the D'music software that was tailored for Windows Me. For some strange reason, I could only download music with the D'music software once, before my DELL computer had conflicts with their software. Despite all the trouble I've gone through with this little device, I give it FOUR STARS because D-Link's website now features downloadable software for all platforms (i.e. Windows Me, 2000 etc...) I download a fresh set of songs into my mp3 player daily now. But if you're thinking about buying an MP3 player, buy one with MORE built in memory - although the cost may be 50-60 dollars more than this one, you should consider the cost of a compact flash card - 32mb costs at least $40. Wouldn't it be easier to just have it built in? The choice is yours!

I installed the software as directed pluged in the mp3 player as the manual instucted to do, and i cannot download any songs onto the player! The manual says nothing about connecting the player except conect player to computer! A friend mentioned something about a printer port having to be changed or something?? If this is the case, then i am very upset that the manual does not discuss this inportant step to have the ability to put music on the player! More than likley, it is my lack of computer skills that do not allow me to properly connect the player! I think this player would probably be great if i can evre figure out how to connect it with my computer. If anyone knows how to do this properly or what the deal is with the printer ports, please email me with your help or suggestions (neuf_07@yahoo.com)

Summary: very good except for flaky display
Review: I spent a lot of time looking at these and I hope someone finds this information useful. The player is *really* small (like a stack of 10 or so credit cards), and very light- but also very loud and with great sound quality. The extra features are what make this thing cool- the record feature is just phenomenal, it sounds very god and is extremely useful. The earbud headphones that come with it aren't so great, but if you're investing this much a $10 pair of decent headphones is worthwhile. You'll have to either use 56kb mp3's or else buy the expansion card- or else you'll be stuck with about 4 or 5 songs. But 56k sounds pretty good. I had no problems with the software. Finally, there is the display- it flakes out on me for no apparent reason. I can read it, but it's sometimes it fades away. Usually it's not a big problem, but if you want to be certain you're recording something and you only get one shot it's a little annoying. Unfortunately I heard these were being discontinued, and I think the reason is that this product cannibalizes sales from the more expensive players that have higher markups, so they can't get them on the shelves anywhere- but that's just a theory.
