Summary: Great product
Review: If you are looking for an MP3 player for you now, you have to choose RIO 600. Ofcourse 32MB onboard isn't the best thing you can get now, but you can pump up audio playtime with 32MB, 64MB or 340MB snap-on backpacks. Also you can personalize your player with snap-on faceplates. RIO 600 supports MP3 and WMA audio formats and uses USB port to connect to your PC. So it's great product to have.

Summary: Great update for great product!
Review: I remember seeing the Rio 500 and thinking it was great but it doesn't compare to the 600. It has tons of new features and a cool new look that is nice. I have heard of a pack coming soon that will give the 600 10 hours of music! so far no problems and running smooth...

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Review: This product has more bugs than a 10 dollar a night hotel.

-- I couldn't get the software to autodetect the player; -- software freezes constantly -- the player only playes 30 seconds of each song; -- the audio manager software does not save preferences; if you specify recording at at 96 kb, it records at 64 kb.

Summary: Update
Review: A lot of people have emailed me asking questions as I have been one of the first to recieve a Rio 600. First of, check the website! It's loaded with info on memory backpacks, etc. It does have a backlit screen and it is expandable to 376MB (not 340) with a 340 MB backpack. To awnser other questions I got my Rio from a rather inside source, I didn't order it. Also, it is much louder than the Rio 500, and it is more then enough, for all those with complaints about it's precidor's quietness.

Summary: Nice 2nd Generation Product!
Review: Love the new look and feels great in your hand. (Kinda feels like my electric shaver) The sound quality is great, but 32 megs is not enough -- I couldn't get my favorite cd to fit without dumping 2 songs -- needs at least 64 standard. Overall it's really cool. I do a lot of mountain biking and this thing is great!

Summary: A great mp3 player
Review: With it's support of wma the 32MB stores as much music as 64MB in mp3, it's memory is also expandable to 340MB, that more than 11 hours of music. like the Rio 500 it has excelent sound quality and the quality of the player is second to none. An imporvement over the Rio 500 and considerably better than the NomadII. In general a very good value for your money.
