Summary: Absolutely the best notebook I've ever owned
Review: This is an awesome notebook that brings the power and screen size/resolution of the desktop with me everywhere I go. I use it for video editing as well with incredible results. This is the laptop you'll want to buy if you're serious about the work you do while on the road. So far, after two months of ownership, I have yet to find anything that limits what I can do with this amazing notebook. Also an incredible gaming platform!! It's a little on the large size, but well worth the added size for what it's capable of doing.The only concern that I had was the search for a notebook case. I wanted a backpack, and I eventually found one suitable for the notebook (16.1 inch screen size) from Amazon. Local stores here in Las Vegas didn't carry the size I needed. Still, this is an outstanding notebook that blows away the other two I've owned. I'd highly recommend it!

Summary: Another 'GRT 170' Vaio laptop again!
Review: This is basically another 'GRT 170' laptop, except it's about $400 more for this model. With the '64MB of dedicated video memory', this thing should plow through any software like a 'German Panzer Tank'. Any 'laptop' or 'desktop', make sure it has 'dedicated video memory', not the cheap 'shared (integrated) video memory'. If you get 'shared', you'll be sorry. Again, this is a quality buy, a little on the expensive side, but the quality is there.

Review: This is the best Laptop ever, it features 2.80-GHz pentium 4, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, and also comes with DVD+/RW/CD-RW Drive. All this is definately worth your money!

Review: very disapointed by this computer, the hard drive is so slow, it's a drag.
I miss my old Dell.
If course, they never mention when you buy the Sony laptop that the disk is a slow RPM.
Stay away.

Review: when I first ordered this computer I thought that it was going to fit all of my needs. One of which is being able to carry it from place to place, which is not posible because it weighs in at just
under eleven pounds, and when you factor in the bag which you have to carry it in because you definitly dont want to break such an expensive computer it weighs about seventeen pounds. For your own satisfaction get another computer.
