Rating: Summary: HP Pavilion zt1135 Review: First, customer service for Hewlett Packard is deplorable. Within one year of owning this laptop, the modem broke and the LCD screen started to flicker. Even with a one year warranty, HP would not fix the problem. By the 18th month, the hard-drive crashed completely - beyond repair. This was a computer that was used mainly for e-mail and DVD viewing only. AVOID THIS NOTEBOOK (and any other HP products for that matter).
Rating: Summary: HP Zt1135 Review: Great NOTEBOOK, has all the toys, but the battery dose not last very long. If you can get past this this is a great notebook
Rating: Summary: HP Pavilion ZT1135 Review: I had this laptop for about 30 months. I added 512MB of memory and after 12 months or so the hard drive would not boot so I took out the additional memory and it worked fine for another 3 months. Then the hard drive starting acting up, clicking and sputtering along. Eventually the hard drive just gave up and I could not boot up the OS. I also had problems with the screen flickering. There must have been a bad connection between the lid (screen) and the main body of the laptop. I had to move the screen slightly and the picture would appear, but then it would go blank on its own. I must admit I used this machine very hard. I took it on business trips and used it every day to do on-line college courses. I was hoping for a longer life than 30 months.
Rating: Summary: Economical, tough, and reliable Review: I have owned and used this machine almost every working day since June 2002. It is now July 2004. Used mostly on my daily commute with 3 hours of train rides, I had to purchase a used battery to complete the day since the main battery lasts 2 1/2 hours only. I have replaced 3 headsets and 3 mice in this time. My train ride is too rocky to use the working touch pad when photo editing, working in speadsheets, or designing GUI interfaces. This is the first laptop I have owned. Soon I shall install wi-fi and this should make the zt1135 more usable at home since two other computers share the DSL and printer now.

Rating: Summary: Rugged and reliable Review: I have this computer for two years now and I have found it to be very reliable and rugged. My teenage daughter uses it the most and she is not gentle when it comes to electronics but this unit has always powered up and performed beyond our expectations. We mainly use it for word processing and surfing the net. Get it if you need an inexpensive laptop.
Rating: Summary: What a great gift! Review: I just got this for mother's day and I LOVE it!! It's very light, which is great because I am going to do a lot of traveling soon. It was very easy to register my XP with the help of "Victor", the virtual 3D HP assistant. It comes with so many accessories. Everything has simple, step-by-step instructions to help you through them. The pentium processor is very fast. It doesn't overheat as easily as my husband's laptop. I was surprised to see that I can use my digital camera with it. Not to mention my digital recorder! I really enjoy this computer.

Rating: Summary: Great Full Featured budget notebook Review: This is a very lightweight, fast, well designed notebook computer. It has everything you could ask for, including DVD, built in ethernet and modem, three usb ports, and fast cpu. The screen is good...but check it out carefully before buying as my first one had a very obvious bad pixel out of the box... for the great price and great product!
Rating: Summary: Worst Laptop EVER Review: Within 3 months the modem melted. I took it to Best Buy where I bought it. After 3 months I got it back, without the battery/casing and powercord. It also wasn't my original computer. Best Buy refused to replace the battery which retails for $250 dollars. I called HP as well as Best Buy's corporate headquarters. No luck. Then after 3 months the "new" computer's harddrive started clicking. The click of death. The computer could be on for about 15 minutes before it shut down with severe errors. No virus or worm mind you. I would never buy a HP laptop from Best Buy or a HP computer ever after this.
