Furthermore, Gateway hasn’t allowed the system’s subcompact frame to limit data handling options, equipping it with a surprisingly spacious 60 GB hard disk and a convenient CD-RW drive through which you can burn and play audio CDs and archive data. The unit features an impressively generous 14.1-inch XGA TFT active matrix display screen (1024 by 768 resolution) and stereo speakers. User controls include a full-size keyboard and EZ Pad pointing device. Other helpful amenities include two high-speed USB 2.0 ports for external devices such as scanners and optical drives, one FireWire port (commonly used for fast data transfer to and form digital camcorders), and S-Video port for feeding your display to a TV and an S/PDIF high-quality digital audio output.
