Summary: I'm in love
Review: A one word review would suffice: "WOW!!!"But, I will elaborate..... :-) This is the best laptop I've ever owned. It is my fourth Macintosh is just under three years. My first was a clamshell iBook. I then owned a PowerBook G3 and an eMac G4 but decided that I wanted portability in my G4. I bought this PowerBook G4 667 and never looked back. This was the most intelligent purchase I've ever made in the computer world. Apple designed a truly wonderful products. It is speedy, beautiful, and functional. I could not ask for more in a notebook computer. Thanks, Apple! I'm now a dedicated and loyal user.

Summary: This the best computer money can buy.
Review: After reading reviews about the powerbook getting hot, I had almost given up on buying powerbook and was thinking of buying a wintel machine. Saw it perform at my friends place. This thing is really cool, I could play DVDs for like 3 hours before the battery warning came up. If you want to buy a computer forget about buying a desktop, this machine roars, 30 GB hard disk with 1 GB RAM this is better than any laptop available in the market. Kudos to Steve and Apple. Unix is back and windows is out. I ran 11 apps at one time and this OS X did not crash, this stuff is amazing. If you are a programmer, or a gamer OSX is the best thing that could happen.

Summary: Excellent Deal for an Excellent Computer
Review: Apple has updated its already sucessful potable line. This is the new revision for the Powerbook G4, or TiBook as the mac fans call it. Let's see what this baby got for us: A very speed 550 mhz G4 processor, which let's you take advantage of MacOs X ( already preinstalled) the best Operative System in the world. Also, if you use graphic or video editing software like adobe Photoshop or Final Cut, this computer will allow you to work on the road as good and fast as you would work on a regular desktop. 128 Mb SRAM. To be perfectly honest it would be better if it would have been 256 mb of RAM on this model. The Radeon Mobility chip its a nice upgrade on this model, with 16mb video memory allows gamers to experience great and fluid graphics on 3D and also helps when watching DVD, which by the way is AMAZING in this computer because of the 15.2 inch Display. In conclusion, this machine is as stunning in performance as it is in looks and now it has a FANTASTIC price which has made it more atractive than ever. This is a laptop for connoisseurs, dont worry if you are not you can always get a Dell or some other toy like that.

Summary: The laptop that converted me away from a Dell
Review: Being in the I.T /I.S business for 2 years now I've delt with many laptops but all of them Windows based, with the exception of the thinkpad series, everything else drove me nuts, windows locking up, having to disconnect the battery and the AC to restart, battery life only lasting about 2- 2.5 hours before dying.
And then I used this G4 laptop. 3.5-4 hours per battery, no show stopping operating system errors, Unix based OS so I can have a useful command line interface that gets things done. And the best screen on a laptop to date. There are some MINOR issues that I can nitpick, ethernet cables that have those boots over the release prong dont really work too well, the monitor hinge covers the area where you would stick your finger to depress it, I had to depress it with a pen, until I ripped the rubber boot off, since then its been fine. The machine AND the power adapter get pretty toasty, sit the machine literally on your lap for about 2-3 hours and it will get uncomfortable, on a table it doesn't matter. Also I'm rapidly getting myself into OSX 10.1.1 and my laptop DID NOT have a copy of the developer tools in it, apparently if you purchase OSX retail the box will include the tools, I find that to be silly, the download is gonna weight in at 130mb, not fun. Other then those little things, this laptop is amazing.

Summary: Burn, burn, i want to burn!
Review: Don't buy this computer until they start shipping them with internal cd and/or DVD burners! yes, you can always add an external one to it, but why waste your money on something that will soon be intigrated with the computer?! If you really need a laptop, buy the ibook instead. It might be a tad slower but at least you can back up your data without having to buy anything axtra (except maybe a CD).

Summary: Wonderful machine
Review: I can't tell you what a great notebook computer this is. Ergonomically it is quite perfect. The screen is larger than my desktop computer and the picture is beautiful. 400 mhz G4 has all the juice I can imagine needing, for 4 or 5 years or so (famous last words...). I would highly recommend it for apple-a-holics. It is much more versatile than the new ibooks, I think. The interchange with windows is also good, though even with the new ms office I still can't open zip files. But that isn't the machines fault! i tunes and imovie work smoothly, and I'm even warming up to OSX. I don't have any real complaints. It even feels great when you hold it and takes up less space than a spiral notebook in a backpack or briefcase.

Summary: You can't beat the Powerbook!
Review: I have had various laptops and desktop computers during the course of five years. I have compared their compatibility and overall performance. It always brings me back to the Apple Powerbook, especially now that its high-quality performance outdoes your typical Windows PC. The Powerbook now features a more user-friendly system that allows you to use it for business, personal and entertainment purposes almost simultaneously. It has high-quality DVD, sound system (which includes various local radio stations), games, and an office software that beats Windows Office 2000 to a tee. And what could be said about the speed? You cannot go wrong with 550 MHz and 256 MB of RAM! Granted, there are faster systems out there, but the Powerbook has the endless quality that will always make the Mac my computer of choice!

Summary: Apple has done it again!
Review: I have now had my PowerBook G4 667 MHz, 1024 RAM (yes - maxed out!) 48 GB HD, etc. etc. And the etc refers to the gigabit eithernet (included), built in AirPort Card (included), long life battery and the excellent quality 15.2" wide screen monitor we expect from Apple. The system is excellent - and well worth the price. The new graphics card is excellent for gaming with it's DDR RAM. This is an excellent choice for the professional in any profession. There is no PC notebook that compare to it. I have had to call Apple support a couple of times and the response was quick and they are able to answer any questions I had. I am very impressed! Good Work Apple - Keep it UP.
