Summary: there greeeeat
Review: i have owned the45s for three years now ,and when hooked up through you VCR you can have separate volume controls .I have found it necessary to send them in once as the ear piece broke off,the company was great to work with and I had a new pair in 5 days.I have used the same batteries for over two years .The only problem I is I would rather have a button switch for picking up the proper range rather then a small revolving control .This is only a personal opinion however. It is so pleasant to watch the television at whatever volume you desire and the wife can listen at another volume. Dealing with Sennheiser is a pleasure !!

Summary: Reliable Wireless
Review: I have used amazon reviews to determine what type of headphones to buy for the price range I wanted - I considered the mixed reviews and gave Senn RS-45 a chance. I am happy to report I am 100% happy with the quality of the sound, the range, and the ease of set up (even my iPOD works with it!)

Summary: Good device for treadmill
Review: I primarily use it to watch TV while working on treadmill. Sound is very crisp and clear most of the time however once in a while there's some disturbance. It doesn't block out the external noises completely but still good enough to listen to the TV comfortably while working out on treadmill.

Headset is very cozy and comfortable on the ears. I used it only for a few days so far and I'm very happy with this piece.

Summary: Bloody awful
Review: I waited the required 24h before eagerly popping these phones on and loading up some Maceo Parker, only to be horribly disappointed.

The sound quality is fine (although noticeably worse than that of lower-priced wired alternatives, such as my recently-broken Beyerdynamic DT231 set, which I'll soon be replacing). However:

Every 45-120 seconds, the music would just cut out - period. A press of the tune button would restore the signal, albeit after 1-2 seconds of unpleasant noise, but this is completely unacceptable.

FYI, I was seated less than 4ft from the transmitter; I tried it on both channels; I switched off all electronic devices in the room and the two next to it, other than my CD player, amp and the transmitter itself. In other words, there's no excuse for the shocking performance.

For me, the applications of this product were a) for use during exercise/cooking/guitar practice and b) for relaxed evening listening. During neither do I want to have to retune the damned headphones every minute. It ruins the flow of any piece of music, and renders the units almost totally worthless. It's a real shame.

They're going back to the dealer tomorrow. Avoid this product.

Summary: Mixed feelings - Don't buy it in Greece
Review: I was given this headset as a gift and I was really excited. I connected it to my computer immediately, and used it to listen to MP3s while doing other stuff around the house or even washing the car outside (I am only on the 1st floor however). I also used it for listening to TV and watching DVDs without disturbing the rest of the family.

The sound quality was great when the headphone had an unobstracted (direct) line of sight with the transmitter, but I got some static while moving around behind walls etc. Overall, I am very satisfied with both the quality of the sound and the reception distance.

On the other hand, I am not particularly satisfied with the overall manufacturing quality, namely the plastics used and the feel on my ears. I prefer the leather-like headphones because they are easier to clean after use. Wearing the headphones was also a bit ackward at first, as they pressed a little too hard against my head (got used to it in the process however).

One word of caution however. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IN GREECE. It broke down and then hell broke loose. There is no Sennheiser in this country and the service center of the seller (Nakas) is located hours away from me. Since I am in the capital rather than a rural area, I dread to think what would have happened to a guy from a small town in a similar case. Also, Avitech (another service center I was referred to), received my money beforehand only to inform me the device can't be fixed. I had to through it away and go for a Sony instead.

Summary: Not up to par
Review: The auto tune function does not work very well, and the pads hurt my ears after a while.

Summary: Bad instructions
Review: The instructions show to plug it into the headphone outlet. When I did that, the reception was terrible. Then I tried the audio line-out and it was 100% improved. The manual does not mention that. When you don't have a line-out they are junk. And the headphone is as warm as an earmuff to wear here in Hawaii. I will look for a better model.

Summary: Great...until they broke
Review: The quality was good and all, but exaclty one month after they arrived, both "ears" broke off, within 2 days of each other. No way of fixing it, it's a little weak plastic part that attaches the ear to the arch. Horribly disappointing.

Summary: Good value
Review: These headphones do exactly what i want them to do! I hook them up to my computer and i can walk around the room with perfect sound quality. I can walk pretty far with really good sound, but once you get behind one thick wall, it goes really fuzzy. But if you just want to walk around an open house and listen to music, these are the headphones for you!
