Review: What a great combination. The speaker that's built in is good enough quality that you really don't need extra speakers unless you want the full stero effect. Getting your Mac in tandem with a monitor is the wise choice, since the AppleCare Protection Plan will extend your monitor's warranty to 3 years ONLY if you buy it at the same time you buy your CPU.

The Apple Cinema Displays are AWESOME. Crisp image, low on desktop footprint. The G4 processor along with Quartz engine in the OS drive digital video without skips, blurs or artifacts. Just pop in "A Bug's Life" for a good example of how awesome of a combo this is. The flat glass means no glare or distortion when working on or viewing artwork.

The 6x SuperDrive can't be beat. Making your own professional-looking DVDs with the included iMovie and iDVD is a cakewalk. A great looking machine that also performs. This is the world of computing that you love, not that you feel tied to.
