Rating: Summary: Nice and Portable Noise cancelling headphones Review: I just got them three days back and I have to admit I like these a lot. First, from a design perspective they are just COOL. When all the other noise cancelling headphones (at least the good ones) are big and bulky, this one is easy to handle and use (behind the neck design) and it folds away for storage. The sound quality is good but cannot be compared to my Sennheiser HD-500 headphones. The noise cancelling function needs a AAA battery and does a good job (not exceptional). I tried them while mowing my lawn outside and they worked pretty damn good. All-in-all I am gonna be using these all the time when I am not at home since they are not as bulky to carry around as my Sennheisers. Recommended.
Rating: Summary: What I expected Review: These headphones delivered exactly what I expected from a $41 set, very good sound but lacking in the noise-cancellation department. The fabric cord with an extension piece is nice and the design makes it fun to wear. The switch for noise cancelling on/off is well located as it doesn't take up room on a seperate piece or on the cord and the foldable design makes the headphones relatively easy to transport with big pockets. Basicly, everything one can expect from Sony for $41.
Rating: Summary: Not so good Review: These headphones do not stay on your ears. Maybe if they were like the other wrap arounds.
A good idea but more of a hinderance of keeping them on the ears.
Rating: Summary: Great Noise Canceling Headphones... Review: yes...the MDR-G94NC. these are very good sony headphones. the sound is great, they're comfy, the style is sexy, but the noise canceling isnt the greatest. however, it is still good. also, they're compact and not bulky. this means portability. there isnt a separate piece for the switch, the switch is acutally on the headphones themselves. recommended.
