Review: THESE ARE GREAT HEADPHONES! They go great with the new CD player I bought with the great bass!

Summary: Great for the price
Review: These are great headphones. I especially like to use them at work. The sound quality is pretty good, but the best thing about these headphones is they fold up into a really small package. I also love the volume control on the cord. Very handy when the boss walks up and taps you on the shoulder!

Summary: Puts My $80. Headphones to Shame
Review: These are my favorite headphones yet. You are really missing a great set of headphones if you don't get these. I have wasted so much money on looking for a decent set, spending anywhere from $80-$15.00. These are it. The search has ended-finally! Great price too!

Summary: O.k. For The Price
Review: These are warm sounding, poorly detailed headphones. The upper bass and lower midrange are quite pronounced. The upper treble is rolled off and the low level resolution is not very good. However, they are relatively transparent and at very high volumes possess a soft, open, somewhat detailed sound. It just isn't very good for your ears that way. At lower volumes, the KTX 4 is O.k. for the $10 you spend. Consider paying a couple of bucks more for the KTX 6, KTX Pro, or the SportaPro if you want some inexpensive headphones to replace the awful ones that come with portable CD players.

Summary: Collapsible, but not Compact - Still a Good Buy
Review: These headphones are a great buy for a few bucks! Perfect for the office, or on the run. While the ear pieces are a bit bulkier than more streamlined headphones, I personally don't mind them. I don't care for 'ear bud' type of headphones and too little padding is uncomfortable, so the bulkier, more heavily padded Koss Stereophones are great for me. Despite their larger size, they are lightweight and extremely comfortable.

Cord length is a major plus, especially if you're plugged into your computer. Not once have I rolled away from my desk and had my headphones ripped off my ears with these. 4 feet of cord is ample and the volume control built into the cord is a nice feature.

I found the sound quality to be very good with no noticeable distortion.

4 stars instead of 5, as the Koss Stereophones are "collapsible", though they are not very "compact". Also, they're fairly stiff when trying to collapse and a bit awkward that it feels as if the inexpensive plastic may break - so far so good though.

You could spend quite a bit more money for a much better pair of headphones, but if price is a concern, or if the highest quality product isn't an issue and you're looking for a standard pair of everyday headphones, you can't go wrong with these...

Summary: longer cable, please
Review: These headphones are a mixed blessing for anyone who wants to use them with a computer. On the one hand, the sound quality out of a Mac G4 is quite good. The bass is strong and distinct and the treble isn't too tinny. Also, the collapsible design with volume control within easy reach is great. However, the cord is WAY too short to comfortably reach from any CPU sitting on the ground beneath a desk...

Summary: Overall Good Headphones
Review: These headphones deliver very good bass, but could be a little crisper on the high-end. However, for the price, these deliver great value! I recently purchased the "Sony Street-Style Sport" headphones... These Koss headphones are far superior in the sound quality department - but the Sony ones are better for working out, going to beach, etc. I would definitely recommmend these headphones.

Summary: I love these!
Review: These things have great sound quality (in fact, better sound quality than my cd player... I've put the Kamelot's Fourth Legacy in my friend's player, and at the highest volume in my cd player the sound kind of crackles). The inline volume adjuster is great, and since it folds up it can easily fit in a drawer, backpack, even a large pocket. My only problem is, as someone else stated, the cord is a bit short, and not ideal for listening to anything except a cd player on your person or a computer which is close to you, although I've never seen a pair of headphones which didn't have this problem (but I haven't had a lot)

Summary: best headphones available for the price
Review: This price is a steal for what's being offered. I've used these headphones for several years. The base sound is great, and also the volume control is very convient.
