Rating: Summary: Okay, but not Good enough for the price Review: I am an audio and lighting expert at my local high school. We have some pretty good equipment there. I have used these headphones to test alot of audio signals. Sometimes, though, there will be a pop or too much signal. By the time I saw these headphones as unusable, I had blown out the bass and the highs. I think that the price is too much for how short they last under some not-so-good-conditions.
Rating: Summary: Great Sound; Great Size... Review: I bought these headphones to wear on the subway on the way to work (to help block out all the other noise!) They have a great deep, rich sound and fold up small enough to stow in the front pocket of my pack!
Rating: Summary: great upgrade for my discman! Review: I have bought my HT850 for 25DM ($...) almost a give away it is an excellent choice for upgrading your "basic" headphones that comes with most walkmans,mp3 players, discman's e.o. It is not as good as my ($160) Beyerdynamic770pro, but when traveling itis far more practical! and a pleasure to listen to (especialy non classical music)
Rating: Summary: Great Sound, Compact size. Almost Perfect Review: I purchased these headphones because I was searching for a great sounding pair of headphones that were small enough to take with me wherever I go. I commute to my college everyday, so I'm sure that my fellow communter students know how important it is to kill time between classes. For me, music is the perfect time-killer. These headphones contribute to this need. Anyway, I digress. These headphones have it all (almost) they have great sound, fold up to a size that is smaller in diameter than my portable CD player, and they block outside noises really well. The earcups are small, but feel very nice once you fit your ears into them. The headpiece is not padded, but it is not really an issue for me because the phones are readily adjustable so you can make them whatever size you wish. Also, a feature that has been overlooked by these reviews is the so-called "shock absorber" for the cord. On the left earpiece, where the cord is connected, there is some sort of spring-loaded mechanism that allows the cord to be pulled away from the earpiece, thus protecting the cord. In other words, you're able to accidentally pull the cord and it won't pull out, rendering the headphones useless. Also, another good feature is the fact that these phones do not leak much sound, to they can be used in public without annoying others. One minor drawback to these phones, is the length of the cord, it is, well, not very long, maybe 3-4 feet at the most, it isn't good if you are sitting far away from your music source, unless you can find some kind of extension, but for portable use it is just fine, however I doubt I could reach it from me to the output on my sound card, and still be left with adequate room to move around. Overall, the cord issue is very minor compared to the other benefits these headphones offer. Good job Panasonic!

Rating: Summary: fairly good, but not perfect Review: If you're looking for a pair of headphones with fairly good sound to use at your computer, these will probably be ok for you. The sound is fairly crisp, and they do a good job of blocking out the noise around you. The sound doesn't "leak" out from them- if you take them off your ears, you won't hear the music more than 3 or 4 inches away. I do have some problems with the design, though. I get interrupted a lot & need to take off my headphones to talk for a few minutes several times a day. I'm used to just pulling my headphones off & leaving them around my neck when that happens, but these are *really* uncomfortable to have around your neck. They fold up for travel & they're so bulky, so they kind of collapse around your neck- hard to describe, but it's very uncomfortable. When they're on top of your head, they can be very difficult to adjust so that they aren't weighing down or pinching anywhere. My last problem with them is that the cord is really short- I doubt that it's even 2 feet long. So you're tethered pretty close to your computer. If you can deal with those design flaws, these are pretty good headphones- the sound is very good.

Rating: Summary: Good for the price. Review: Nice headphones. Great price, good sound, comfortable too. They fold up really small and have a carrying pouch as well, which is a cool bonus. I highly recommend them!
Rating: Summary: Best headphones ever, until they got stolen Review: These are a very comfortable pair of headphones. I'm a small person and these fit, although I've gone through several oversized headphones. They muffle outside noise, too. Mine were stolen, but if Amazon ever gets them back in stock, I'm buying another pair.
Rating: Summary: Best headphones ever, until they got stolen Review: These are some of the greatest headphones ever. The comfort is unbelievable, the sound is awsome, and the folding design make then even better. They block out the sound around you perfectly. The only flaw, which is minor, is the cord, it could be longer! If you can handle the cord, I highly recommend these headphones.
