Summary: Good quality for the price
Review: I have been a loyal Koss fan for quite some time, and I must say that I am very impressed with the R10 headphones. They have a very 90s look to them and a good quality for a good price. Thumbs up for me!

Summary: Dissapointing for the price.
Review: I've enjoyed Koss products before and thought these headphones would also be good but unfortunately they're not. They're quite comfortable but the sound is somewhat tinny. Something just seems missing from the sound that I can't put my finger on. It seems somewhat "distant" if that makes sense. Doesn't seem to be "right there".

I also have a pair of Radio Shack Pro 25 Titanium headphones that I bought on sale for which are much better.

I'd recommend trying other headphones before you buy these the Koss R/10.

Summary: Single worst product purchased ... ever
Review: These wounded awful and fell apart after two uses. The ear phones are way too heavy for the headset and fell apart.

Do not purchase these.

Summary: Breakage bad....
Review: Having suffered through a wide variety of garbagey headphones in my time, I was very pleased with the quality of sound to be found in these. Unfourtunately, my hapiness was short lived, as 3 months following my purchase, the plastic housing for the swiveling earpiece just snapped off...Never one to be discouraged, I repaired it with a small metal rod bent as a "splint" for the broken piece, and attached to the housing with electrical tape...much to my chagrin, the otherside broke 2 weeks later...in exactly the same way! well, I did the same ghetto style fix for the other side that I had for the first, and theyre still usable, although barely presentable... this is not a reliable product is the long and the short of it....

Summary: 3 years and going strong
Review: I bought these headphones over 3 years ago, and they are still going strong. I use them in the office only, so they get little abuse (e.g. I don't blast the bass at work, or anything). I have dropped them a number of times, though, and they didn't break. The sound quality is good for listening to CDs, but like I said, I don't blast the bass or anything. Finally, they are extremely comfortable. I wear them for 7+ hours some days and they don't bother me one bit.

Summary: Breaks Very Easily
Review: As I was putting it on my head one day it just broke. There's just no excuse for that. I would not recommend them, but if you're going to buy them use them very, very carefully! The sounds is a little too deep and murky, too.

Summary: Great Quality and Features for Price
Review: The Koss R/80 is a great set of mid-priced headphones that will appeal to someone who doesn't want junk, but who doesn't want to spend $100 or more on headphones. They cover the whole ear, are comfortable to wear, and have great sound. The connection jack is gold-plated and thus you get little if no background interference noise.

Another special feature is that it has a coiled cord that actually connects to the headset like a telephone jack. In the past with the other headphones I have had, the cord would break away from the connection inside the headset, and I would have to throw them out, but by having this phone jack type connection it is more durable and allows the cord to be replaced instead of the whole headphones if needed.

This set of headphones is just what I was looking for - good quality, good brand, good price.

Summary: Not very durable
Review: Sound quality is good, very little isolation though. Very comfortable to wear. Construction is very poor though. Broke ear cups easily. Would not buy again due to poor construction.

Summary: Excellent sound. Bad design flaw
Review: I purchased a KOSS R-200 stereophone set several days ago.

Sound quality: 5 stars.
As soon as I tried on these headphones I was impressed with the sound. This style is slightly heavier than some of the KOSS headphones, but I found that the extra weight faded into the background, and didn't bother me.

Construction: 1 star.
They broke after several days. This specific model seems to have a design flaw that caused the headphones to break. The joint between the strap and the earpiece did not swivel enough. The first time I took them off with one hand (bending the right earpiece over my head) the torque that was applied to the left earpiece joint snapped the plastic.

If you are careful to always put these headphones on and take them off with two hands, they would be excellent headphones.

I have not reviewed the other KOSS products to determine if the other styles have the same design flaw. This could be why the reviews in this section seem to be mixed as far as whether or not KOSS products are built well or flawed, because multiple models are lumped together into these reviews.
