Rating: Summary: Excellent sound and very reasonably priced Review: Always a headphone user, this particular set of ear buds were recommended to me, and since I had been wanting to try a set of ear buds, I chose these Sonys. I couldn't be happier with their performance. They fit comfortably (in small ears) and really have outstanding sound, especially considering the price. I also like the wind-up case...very handy. You can't go wrong with these buds. I would definitely buy them again.
Rating: Summary: Best....ever!! Review: Had these headphones for a long time and is the best one out there. The amount of bass this is.....*drool*. There are a lot like this, but it doesnt respond with a wide range of freq. This is very cheap and the wind-up case it awesome!
Rating: Summary: Ok...but not for running Review: I bought these as a replacement to the headphones that came with my MP3 player. They sound fine, but they don't fit in my ears very well and the right one falls out about every 45 seconds when I'm running.
Rating: Summary: Great for the price. Review: I forgot my headphones at home one day, and needed a cheap pair to keep at work for such... emergencies. Surprisingly good bass response, the ability to pick some highs out - a little muddy in the midrange - but... for $12 (not online) - these are quite a deal. They're at least as good as iPod stock headphones. The cord is a little short, and they do feel a little cheap, but hey - they are cheap! They just don't sound like it - which is all that counts, in my opinion.
Rating: Summary: The Case is $1.00 more. Review: I have been buying this product so many times as soon as my son broke it, and took mine. Then I found the same product without case. (MDR-E818LP) It is almost a dollar cheaper. I rate 4 star to catch your attention. The product is great to watch portable DVD player. I cannot venture other product; I love this product.
Rating: Summary: You can't go wrong with these..... Review: I owned these for a few years, and I found the sound quality to be excellent... they were very comfortable, and you will notice the difference in sound quality when compared with the standard earphones supplied with most portable CD players. If you know certain songs very well, you will especially notice the difference --- you will actually HEAR the bass guitar when listening to rock bands for instance! I found myself listening to all my favourite songs all over again with renewed interest!
My dog recently chomped on one of these, afterwards it sounded like plastic film rattling inside them, so I ended up replacing these with Sony MDR-ED31LP (supposed to be the next model up), and they are hopeless in comparison (those earphones don't fit in your ear as well as the rubber inserts crumple when you insert them). I should have got these Sony MDR-E828LP earphones again. :-(
Rating: Summary: Pleasant Suprise for under $10 Review: I read several reviews of these headphones here at Amazon about a month ago and decided that I give them a chance when my current headphones broke. My sub-par Koss clip-ons died on me last Friday after 4-months and the standard pair that came with my Rio Cali had broken weeks after purchase, so I decided to purchase a pair.
I bought them at my local Sears for $10 rather than order them from Amazon because I needed them ASAP. These headphones more than exceed my expectations. My previous experiences with bud-style headphones have been pretty bad. These however, had excellent sound quality, above-average bass, and fit into my ears quite nicely. I don't have any problem with the length of the cord and I tend to keep my MP3 player clipped to my waist while I listen to it.
The winding case is very easy to use and is a nice edition as it prevents my headphones from getting tangled in my backpack or purse when not in use. Also included are removable pads that fit over the tips of the headphones themselves for a better fit.
All in all, I'd recommend these headphones even if you're not normally a fan of bud-style headphones. Their excellent sound quality and low price are sure to please.
Rating: Summary: Good Sound, Failed Later Review: I was on my second pair of these when I became greatly disapointed. I absoluty love Sony but I have to give these 3 stars. GREAT sound, but after 2 weeks, the left ear bud lost all bass and became extremly tin sounding. Basicly if you get one speck of dust in the these things your done. I would suggest a pair of behind the ear headphones, sony of corse, Dont get my wrong sony is the best electronics out there next to bose, but these are just too delicate for headphones
Rating: Summary: Handy, good quality... can't beat it for the price Review: I've never had good experiences with earbud phones - they're uncomfortable and the sound quality is usually middling at best. Their only saving grace is convenience, but then there's always the hassle of untangling the cord when you are ready to use them. I originally bought my Fontopias strictly as cheap and convenient "travel phones" for my iPaq Pocket PC and Rio mp3 player when on the road - I just wanted something that wouldn't get snarled in my pocket. However, after a week of use I'm already a huge fan and they've become my everyday headphones of choice. Lightweight and simple as any other earbuds, the fidelity they deliver is really remarkable. Doesn't measure up to full headphones, of course, but they're far and away the best earbuds I've ever used. With a little adjustment to find the best angle, I've worn them for hours with no discomfort. The case is very cleverly designed and extremely easy to use, though a little flimsy - I'm just waiting to see what happens when I inevitably sit on it by accident. And you certainly can't beat the price. Very strongly recommended.
Rating: Summary: These are the best!! Review: I've used many headphones as I am addicted to my MP3 player. But none of them even come close to the sound clarity and comfort of these Sony Ear-Buds. And the best part is, for under $10 it really is a steal!!!
I use these to do nearly everything from yard work to biking to running and I have no problems keeping them in my ears. I do knock them out on occasion, but that is always my fault and not the ear-buds.
If you are getting ear-buds, get these. There is nothing else out there that compares to these and it is going for an unbeatable price.
