Summary: Can't be beat!!!
Review: I have a set of the Sony MDRV700DJ Studio Monitor Headphones that I use for sound re-inforcement while playing my Bass Guitar. They are incredable and simply can't be beat. I have used other so-called "High-end Units" from other manufacturers and nothing comes close! I would recommend these headphones for fellow musicians, for audiophiles, for basic music listening. They simply can't be beat for the sound quality, bass reproduction...

Summary: These headphones crank!
Review: Unlike Koss' and ... Sennheiser's these Sony's can crank at a high volume and still sound great with no distortion. They can sound fine on a 100 watt stereo, or even a low wattage portable CD Player or Jambox.

I think these phones were created for Dance and Rap music with lots of bass but they sound great on any kind of music. My only gripe is that I wish they had a little more high end.

Summary: Like Nothing You've Ever Heard!
Review: These are excellent headphones! I had some $80 Koss headphones before these and the Sony's are much better. Their bass is astounding, and mid's and highs are clear and crisp. The only downside I have found is that they squish your ears a little, but if you don't have to wear them for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time, they're very comfortable. The coiled cord, folding design, and the supplied screw-on mini plug to 1/4 inch adapter are neat features. I'd reccomend these headphones to anyone who wants great sound.

Summary: OUT OF THIS WORLD
Review: When it comes to headphones I've always respected sony, these headphones are so good, the quality of the sound and the bass are out of this world. I really recommend these pair if you are a music quality freak.(hey, if you are you're not alone)

Summary: Sounds great.
Review: Not much more to add than has already been said. My use for these is a little different--I do live video production, and our "control room" area is often in the same room as the event. So with Walkman-type phones it's often hard for me to distinguish between the "nat sound" and what's going on tape. Great isolation with these--that's the most crucial to me. And it doesn't hurt that they're comfortable to wear for hours, and sound great, to boot. I'm using them right now listening to The Beatles "1" (instead of my usual meetings!) and I'm really impressed with the warm yet very present sound.

Summary: crazy headphones that are cheaply made
Review: I bought two pairs of these headphones because i hated them so much. Dont ever buy them. I dont know why everyone says they are so good. (there is a limited amount so maybe if I get people to not buy them, i can have a pair, theyre actually good)

Summary: DJ Or Not, These are great headphones
Review: It does not matter weather or not you are a DJ. These headphones produce tremendously clear sound. No matter what application you intend on using them for. I my self am a DJ and have found these to be my number one pair of headphones. And in case you didn't happen to notice all the DJ's on MTV also have these headphones. Go Get a Pair You will Not be Disappointed.

Summary: Worth every penny!!
Review: Over the years I have broken a lot of headphones. This one by far is the best built set I have ever owned. I play 2 to 3 times a week. Thursday and Friday at Ninfa's and on Saturday at the club. Not only are these sturdy but they sound like no other headset. The 107 db sensitivity is outstanding. As for comfort. My nine year daughter thinks there very comfortable. Out of all my head- phones. There the most comfortable. I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about. There worth every penny.
