Summary: nice enough
Review: save your money and buy bead head phones. the sound on these is hollow, which was a suprise considering their size. essentially just not worth the price.

Summary: BEST HEADPHONES FOR THE MONEY
Review: SOLID VALUE WITH GOOD BASS & CLARITY. ABOVE AVERAGE IN MOST AREAS. KEEPS OUT 90% OF OUTSIDE SOUNDS. FULL SIZE EARCUPS SOFT BUT VERY WARM, THUS BETTER FOR WINTER JOGS THAN SUMMER TIME USE. PERFORMS AS WELL AS MORE [OTHER] HEADPHONES. HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION YET FAIRLY LITE. EYE CATCHING DESIGN. 4 & A HALF STARS.

Summary: poor quality
Review: Specifications of those headphones made them look extremely attractive especially for portable use, but unfortunately the sound this set provides is very poor. The base is nonexistent, and they do not isolate the outside noise at all. But again, those headphones only cost $..., and I guess you can't expect much for that price.

Summary: Average or less
Review: The sound quality is decent, but I had problems with sweat on the earpads, also it sits rather firmly, so I couldn't wear it for longer than an hour at one time. Also, the plastic support for the sliding frame chipped in a few weeks, I patched it up with tape, but a bigger piece broke again, so the headphones were effectively ruined. There's a reason why it's on clearance, clearly it's not worth the full price (build quality, comfort). I will probably try a Sennheiser the next time round.

Summary: Great headphones for the good of the price.
Review: These are really the type of headphones you can use on your portable cd player. The sound quality is just what any person could ask for in headphones (only if they know what the specifications mean). First stop, the frequency response is 10 - 28,000 hz.....the wider the range, the better its sounds. And its sensitivity is up to 102 db....the higher, the louder (you always want aleast more than a 100 db). So, when the next time anyone wants to buy good headphones, always look for the sensitivity, and the frequency response. Anyways, these headphones are a good choice for sound. Also, its comfortable, adjustable, and its foldable so u can take it in your school bookbag, suitcase, pocketbook, or whatever. Buy these headphones if you dont wanna waste time looking for the right price, or a brand name.

Summary: Great Headphones, Superb Value
Review: These foldable Philips headphones don't just look really cool, they sound great and are comfortable too. These are the best headphones available in their price class... The sound is superb, with nice low bass tones and clean treble. The headphones don't block all outside noise by themselves, but can be turned up more than loud enough to eleminate any outside distraction. They are also really really comfortable, which may be one of its strongest features. Sometimes it doesn't feel like you're even wearing anything, and you'll forget they're on your head. They even fold up, and are built with metal hinges for extra durability. The only possible down-side is the short cord, it is only approximately 4 feet. So if you need a longer cord for whatever reason than these may not be right for you. But besides that- these are really nicely designed, excellent sounding, affordable headphones - being offered at an even lower price by Amazon. I was very pleased with these, and would recommend them to anyone looking for headphones.

Summary: Nice looking headphones
Review: These headphones are nice, excelent audio quality but you need a good stereo to feel the good sound, I plugged them directly on my soundcard Soundblaster Live! and the sound quality was poor too high frequencies, I tried on my stereo and I could hear the bass very good.

The only thing I didnt like about these headphones, is that the cord is too short!

Summary: Incredibly comfortable & portable!
Review: These headphones are the best ones out there. I've bought $120, $70, $15 headphones in the past.. and the Philips HP550 Foldable Full-Size Headphones are definitely the best for your money!

I work on the computer for hours at a time, and these headphones are awesome to use for listening to MP3's.. but they are also great for plugging into your stereo or CD player. The sound is amazing regardless!

These headphones are also great for travel.. if you want to bring them on the plane, or to work-out or in the car. They just fold up into a small shape. Headphones are also incredibly durable.. I've had mine for over a year, and even after the dog chewed on the headset a little, they are still at optimum performance. An excellent product at a great price!

Summary: Best Headphones for...
Review: These headphones deliver some serious quality. The bass and treble are great, with exceptional sound. They work well from heavy metal to Stravinsky. They are well designed and are so light you barely know that you're wearing them. The hinges are durable, and the blue pegs are for winding the cord around. They are very convenient and portable, they fold right up into themselves. I definatly recommend these to anyone that wants an awesome pair of headphones, but doesn't want to shell out major mula.

Summary: good sound, little else
Review: These headphones provide superb sound quality even at extremely high volumes. However, they are lacking in both comfort and durability. In a little less than a year, wires in the plug have become exposed causing occasional noise in one ear. also the padding has begun falling apart. I would recommend these to someone looking for occasional use, but not to anyone who will be wearing headphones for prolonged periods of time.
