Summary: OMG here they are!!!
Review: I love this style of Sony headphones! I have been looking all over for them b/c they are too expensive at Sony.com. They are so comfortable, I can even sleep with them on. I hightly reccomend these!

Summary: Excellent
Review: I purchased these headphones from Circuit City and must say that they are great. I jog a lot and I have found that they do not move around at all and are very comfortable...in fact, after a minute you forget you are wearing them. As far as sound is concerned, I've had the walkman volume up all the way and these headphones handle the sound just fine. There are identical Sony headphones for a little cheaper...but they don't have a gold plated jack...I think the extra couple bucks is worth the better connection.

Summary: A great value
Review: I was reluctant to buy these headphones because of their price (35$ then), but they were the only 'behind the neck' style headphones at that store that day so I decided to give them a try. From my first listen to a CD these headphones left me with goosebumps on my neck because of the crisp sound quality in such a small device. I would reccomend this to anyone who loves good sound quality, but has been looking for those new style headphones!

Summary: Nice design, One problem though.
Review: I will say that these headphones are very well designed and that they would please any non-audiophile person. But the one problem is that the sound is a little muffled compared to my Sony MDR-W08L. Another good design feature, the cord is about a meter long, definetly useful for your computer.

Summary: pretty good job
Review: I would say that this is a really good pair of headphones, good sound and look quality. but there is one disadvantage over these headphones, only for a few people. it really gets aggravating when you have these headphones and glasses on at the same time, it just feels weird.

Summary: Very well made and Stylish.
Review: Ive been through alot of headphones and this si my second pair of ehind the neck headphones. First i must say these look fabulous! They are stylish and dont look goofy with that thing on your head. The sound is superior to any headphones i have used and it fits snug. I must say the design is somewhat odd. its got this rubber flap that keeps it into your ear, maybe this is so it doesnt fall but my old hehind the neck ones didnt have that and they were fine. So it can be a little uncumfortable. But you forget you are wearing them normaly. These also come with the gold plate which improves quality which is a plus. Other than the flap i cant find anything wrong with these they are styling with excelent sound. Also they never fall off or lose place cuz i run alot with these on and they have reflectors for safety too! The perfecrt headphones.

Summary: Great sound but can be rather uncomfortable
Review: My Mp3 jukebox came with a similar behind-the-neck style headphones that I really liked so I thought I'd try these Sony ones. I can't say enough for the sound quality...for a relatively cheap set of headphones, it's really excellent. However, the headphones were really uncomfortable for me. They were quite tight, but more of a problem was how sore my ears got wearing them. This may be because I wear glasses, or maybe due to my smaller-than-normal ears, I'm not sure. I just haven't had trouble with other similar headphones before. I even tried removing the extra ear grips these have (nice for if you are doing something really active). That did help some, but I still couldn't stand to wear them. I'd recommend them for the sound quality though, just be aware of possible problems with comfort.

Summary: THE BEST!
Review: People, if you're thinking of purchasing those headphones...you made the right desicion! I bought the headphones 2 months ago, and I'm TOTALLY satisfied with them. They are way too comfortable and the best for working out or dancing! they never drop. These headphones provide you with a great deep sound and a great kind of bass, of course you must take in consideration the type of the player u're using, so don't judge it by using a cranky old cheap player and say "Oooh! these are bad ones"
Every one thinking of buying any Headphones, think Sony Street Style Stereo Headphones.

Summary: The design is both a curse and a blessing
Review: The sound quality from the MDR-G57 is excellent, with crystal clear output at the highest volume and minimal distortion. These headphones were obviously designed with portable CD players in mind. While the sound quality is nice, the design is, to say the least, unique. Rather than forcing the user to ruin their carefully sculpted hair style by putting headphones over it, these phones go behind the neck, saving face and hair.

The design does present a few problems, though. The first is the lack of size adjustment. Luckily, my head is neither too big or too small, but it can definitely be a problem to people with smaller or larger heads. Sounds silly, I know, but being too tight or too big can seriously cause discomfort. My friend bought these headphones and had the problem with her ears getting sore because she couldn't adjust the earpieces. One warning to all, though, prolonged use does cause irritation on the tops of the ears. Also, to people with glasses, you might want to reconsider buying these particular headphones, because the phones themselves take over the whole ear, preventing you from properly putting on your glasses.

The other drawback in the design is the bleedthrough, more so on these than other open-ear design headphones. Be careful of the volume if travelling on a bus or a plane, because the people sitting around you will definitely hear what you are listening to.

But all that said, I am happy with these headphones, though I see the drawbacks for many people, and experienced a few of them myself. For the price, these are a great deal. For sound quality, these have it where it counts, for design, it's depends on the person.
