Review: it's the best eargear i've ever had ... crystall-like sound and very very comfortable....

Summary: Great Sounding Behind the Head Set.
Review: Just got back from Target and plugged these into my Sandisk 1GB
MP3 player and can say I absolutely love them! Used them for about an hour so far and can't say anything bad about them, especially at this price point. Friend has the newer Sony behind the head and the Phillips is so more comfortable by my standards. Would defiantly recommend these to any of my friends.

Summary: Philips Behind-the-Neck Headphones (HS500)
Review: The headphones produce great sound. They however are not adjustable like the description says. A great buy for under $15.00.

Summary: good sound and light weight
Review: The HS500 sound pretty good for wrap around headphones and they are very light weight... you can almost hardly knotice that they are there.

My only problem with them is that after about an hour or so if your not carefull to put them on juuuust right they pinch your ear.
It's a weird pinch tho because it only begins to hurt me after I take them off.

But like I said, if you move them around a little and get them comfortable it really isn't to much of a problem.

Summary: Good sound, comfortable and reasonably priced
Review: These are excellent headphones for the price.

Sound quality is very good
The headphones are comfortable, unlike the earbuds which I find to be painful. I like the fact that these go behind the neck rather than on top. The headphones are not adjustable, and they feel like they may fall off my head (and I have a big head...LOL), but the ear clips keep this from happening. My plan is to use these during exercise (walking/biking) and I'm concerned that they may move too much when I do....we'll have to see.

Purchased at Target store (I didn't have the patience to wait fo shipping), and at $15, the price is definitely right!!

Good choice for the money.

enjoy

Summary: Worth the money
Review: These are great headphones for the money. I have drawer full of them and threw out all of my older or less capable headphones. I keep buying them because I keep giving them away to friends, who are usually complaining about their OEM headphones or especially about earbuds. They have all liked the HS500, but they may be biased because the price was right..

PROS:
1. The sound is excellent and they are very easy to drive. I still have sound at a volume setting of one on my Zen jukebox. I junked my Creative headphones when I got these.
2. They are comfortable, even with glasses. I have tried other brands that were too small and barely got to my ears.
3. They last. After a year, the pair I use most have stretched to where they are loose. This is about 2000 hours of listening. The sound is still excellent and the pads are still in good condition.

CONS:
1. I suspect they are capable of causing permanent hearing damage or maybe bleeding ears for those that really crank them up. I know some people that have put the clip on version of these headphones (HS430's) in their motorcycle helmets because the do get really loud. This may be a PRO for some.
2. Although they have excellent sound, if you are plugged into your stereo for some SERIOUS listening, a more capable headphone is in order.

Summary: sound great
Review: These are great! They sound good, nice and clear. I also have a pair of Sony behing-the-neck phones and these are better, the Sonys sound muddy in comparison. They're comfortable to wear and stay in place really while moving around.

I'm on my second pair because the cat chewed up the cord of the 1st set, but at least they didn't cost too much to replace!

Summary: Great sound quality but some getting used too.
Review: These are great, I use them with both my mp3 player and old walkman and the sound quality is excellent. You can get alot of volume out of these without the crackling sound you get from cheaper models. They look great too, there sleek and stylish (I think so anyway). The only bother I had with these is that after a while it hurts the top of my ears, after a few weeks it stopped happening but for a while it was a bit bothersom.

The size of the ear pieces is a little big also, so you can;t wear any kind of hat with them but the sound quality is still excellent so I would advise buying these.

Summary: SUPERIOR SOUND
Review: These headphones are reasonably priced, and the sound is reat! I have a Sony and the headphones that came with that unit are too big for my head. The adjustability on these phones is great too. i would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone.
