Rating: Summary: Exelent choice for carrying a nacked iPAC Review: For those who don't wear shirts with pockets or are afraid of the iPAC slipping out of the pocket and being damaged on the floor, AND who have not added any slip-on accessories, this is a great add-on. It fits the naked iPAC just perfectly with easy access to all functions except the recessed reset button on the bottom, which you hopefully won't have to use very often. What I really like is that it has a belt clip, very much like the ones used by some of the high quality cell phones. It slips on the belt, and a "button" on the back of the case securely "snaps" into the holder. To remove the iPAC along with the case, you push a large button on the top of the belt clip and the case easily slides up and out. When you are ready to put it away, it "snaps" securely in place. Another thing I like is that I carry mine on the right side, which covers the right hand pants pocket. The case, mounted on the belt loop easily "swivels" out of the way to allow easy access to the pocket. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the portion of the belt clip where the belt slips through could have been made to more easily accomidate various belt "thicknesses". The belt I use is somewhat thick,(as opposed to "wide") but not at all uncommonly thick. The belt clip accomidates it, but just barely, and putting it on the belt is a pain, especially where the belt holes have been stretched "out" by strain on the belt by my little bit to large stomach. You have to exert some "muscle grese" to slip the clip onto and up the belt to its desired location. I don't wear a shirt with a pocket very often, and when I do, I still prefer the iPAC holder because it is secure, there is no added weight to the shirt pocket and you don't notice the iPAC at all mounted on your belt ... even sitting down it swivels out of the way. I use my iPAC a lot for listening to mp3's that I download. The flap on the case works beautifully to hold the earphone plug snugly in the earphone recepticle on the IPAC, something I had trouble with before I got the Rhino Case. I remove the iPAC with case frequently during the day, and the large "release" button on the belt clip works easily to release the case from its "locked" position without having to look down to the clip ... it is easily done by feel alone. Of all the add-ons I have purchased for my iPAC, becides additional SD Memory for mp3s, the Rhino case is, by far, the most useful and, for me, essential of the lot. To top it off, it has worked flawlessly as advertised and the fit to the iPAK is perfect. Now, the question is, how long will it be before either something breaks on the belt clip, or the eye on the back of the case comes off (as so often happens with cell phones that use this same system). Once either of those events happens it will be time or order another RhinoSkin Leather Flip Case.
Rating: Summary: Not too happy! Review: I am not too happy with this case. The belt clip does not fit any work belt I wear. It will work fine with a dress belt, but not any kind of wide work belt. The inside of the case is full of dried glue where they glued the lining to the leather. Most of all, the ipaq will not fit in the charging cradle while it is in the case; you have to take it out of the case everytime you want to sync it to your computer or charge it. Also I don't like the pocket on the inside of the case. Anything you put in the pocket (like an sd card) presses directly on the screen. It may be safe, but I'm not going to take a chance with the screen. Searh for something better, especially at the price of this one.
Rating: Summary: Good fit for my IPAQ, mostly. Review: This was mostly a good fit for the Ipaq. It's not hard to insert and take out, but I have to push it in really hard to get the entire top of the screen to be visible in the window. But that might change after I've had it a while and it breaks in. The post mount is a plus, since it's compatible with any Nokia phone post mount.
