Rating: Summary: Great case for the m500/m505 Review: As a woman, I carry a wallet in my purse with my cash, change, and cards in it all the time. This item let me combine all into one wallet, instead of carrying one for my palm and one for the rest. Although it is bulky, it still saved on room.
Rating: Summary: Excellent wallet case for the m505 Review: I got my wallet the day I got back from a long trip...and planed to return it...for a refund, but then I looked at it. This wallet is perfect for the m505 and has allowed me to reduce the amount of stuff that I put into my pockets every day. The Palm slides onto the rail for a secure fit. The other flap in the wallet holds my drivers license, credit cards, cash and cards for the m505 all very nicely. The walet also fits nicely into the pocket of all my shorts and pants. It feels well crafted and the leather is very nice.Overall, I am glad I bout it...
Rating: Summary: Finally, THE case for my Palm Review: I have gone through several cases designed for Palms, from a snug-fitting neoprene case to a large Coach case that held a dozen credit cards and a note pad. This case, however, is the perfect one for me. The leather is high quality with a tough (hard at first) finish. As you use the case for a few weeks, however, the surface softens a bit. It is great for business use, but if you are hard on your cases, a nylon or metal one might be a better choice. Inside, the storage is very handy, and designed specifically for a 505 and SD/MMC cards, so the space is very efficiently laid out. I can fit two credit cards in the slots and two in the clear pocket for a total of three credit cards and my driver's license. There is also a hidden slash pocket for cash. I took the advice of another reviewer and left the note pad out of my case. It is tiny - smaller than a normal PostIt note - and adds to the bulk of the case. Since the M505 has the notepad function, I figured the paper was redundant anyway. One reviewer noted that he was expecting a metal zipper, based upon the photograph of the case. The only difference in the picture and the production unit is the metal zipper pull. The production unit has a leather sewn pull. The nylon zipper is actually preferable as a metal zipper could scratch the Palm unit and would most likely be less reliable over time. The only minor annoyance I found with the case is that the plastic rail that connects the unit to the case is very snug once inserted. To remove the unit for HotSync/charge takes a bit of effort. Be careful of your fingernails. Once Palm actually delivers a travel HotSync cable and travel charger (whomever was in charge of bringing Palm's accessory hardware to market should be sacked) this will not be a problem as you won't need to remove the unit at all. This issue aside, this is the best case so far for a 505 if size and utility are an issue.
Rating: Summary: Great Multi-functional Case! Review: I purchased this version of my favorite Wallet Case when I acquired by trusty Palm 515. The best thing about the Wallet Case is that it looks just like Palm's Slim Leather Case (which doesn't have a billfold), so this is where I hide my "mad money" unbeknownst to everyone (including my wife). The Palm Wallet Case also has some extra SD Card-carrying slots on the inside cover, which are perfect for storing extra memory cards and my Wesbster Dictionary/Thesaurus (when its not in use). The slots, unfortunately, are a tad too short to hold my oversize Palm/Toshiba Bluetooth SD Card transmitter, so I carry it, instead, in the back cover's convenient coin purse (which, since it has a zipper, is a much more secure storage compartment anyway). The plastic rail that the unit uses to link with the Palm 515 is skinny and flexible, and not quite as secure as my previous Palm V case's rigid metal rail. But the case still holds my business cards and my kids' doctors appointment reminders; the tongue loop is still just as reliable and easy to open; and, being about the size as the Slim Leather Case, it still fits into my front pants pocket, where it (bulges strategically and) is always ready for action. Overall, what more could anyone ask for in a Palm protectant?
Rating: Summary: Nice Review: It's a very nice wallet...a little big and bulky to what a normal guy will use, but it beats having a seperate wallet and palm in the same pocket, which is what I had before. I just hate the strap and coin holder, not many guys walk around with change in their wallet!
Rating: Summary: Doesn't work as a wallet Review: Okay - I read the reviews, I saw the product on Amazon and really really liked the look and functionality of theproduct. I got one! I still like it, it is very functional but my Palm simply falls out of it! This kind iof makes it pretty useless as a protective cover for my palm! I have had the case for a whole day and (I do like it!) but I am taking it back since it fails in its primary function - protecting my palm! I placed it in my backpack and simply walking for a short while saw my palm dislodged and floating around in my bag! Now when I say backpack - it's a laptop backpack and isn't full of junk or things rattling 'round (no I'm not a Uni student!!) so my palm didn't get damaged. I was happy with my purchase but it just doesn't work!
Rating: Summary: Great case! Review: This is -the- case for the m50x series. Not only does it have plenty of space and slots for SD cards, credit cards, and ID cards, but it has a zippered closure that protects the Palm from lint and dust. Your screen will be less likely to be scratched. It also contains a tiny notepad that attaches to a leather flap. A nice touch, but I would recommend that you just discard the notepad and use the plain leather flap as a buffer between the Palm and the SD and credit cards. You lose a bit of functionality with the loss of the paper, but you gain tons of additional screen protection. When most wallet style cases are closed, the edges of your credit cards are pushed up against the screen. This is bad. This case actually provides the much needed added protection with that leather flap. The Palm is held in by a slide-rail, this allows the Palm to connect to the cradle while still in the case. It is somewhat ackward, but less ackward than taking it out of a case. And to top it off the case is a nice quality leather. If you have a m50x, get this case!
Rating: Summary: Impractical Review: This just didn't work out for me. First, the on/off button kept getting hit while in my travel bag, leaving me with no Palm on one trip and virtually no power left on another. On top of that, blank notes kept being left due to this issue. The leather flap is constantly in the way when you try and enter something. I gave up and bought the hard case as a replacement. It's smaller and much sturdier so shouldn't have any of the above problems. Plus it opens up all the way for easy use.
Rating: Summary: The Leather Wallet Case is great! Review: When I looked through the review, I really wished that more of the other reviews specifically stated which case they were talking about. So now that I am making one, I made sure to put it right in my title. (Just to make sure you know what I'm talking about, this review is about the Wallet Case. Not the Zipper, Belt, or Slim Case.) Ok, so the Wallet Case, has 2 slots for credit cards, driver's license, atm cards, etc., 4 slots for expansion cards, a billfold, a zippered coin slot, and a side pocket where I currently have four other cards stored. The best part about this case, as opposed to the other three, is the billfold. Nice and easy access to dollar bills. You don't have to go through the trouble of pulling out a stack of folded bills from a side pocket. And I guess the zippered coin pouch is useful too, but I haven't really used that yet, since I just got my Wallet today.I don't have any of the others, but I did have a case similar to the Slim Case for my Palm Vx. Some of the other reviews talk about the Palm falling out of the case. Well, here's what happened to me. When I first put in the Palm, after a minute or two of handling it, my Palm DID fall out. Then I tried putting the Palm into the Wallet again, and noticed that I was able to push the Palm onto the Wallet attachment further than I previously had. I just didn't fully install the Palm into the Wallet the first time. Now it is very secure. I shook it several times and it didn't budge at all. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I wish that it came with the extra window flap that the zippered case came with. It it's like all the other window flaps I've seen in wallets, it is removeable. And I think I might just buy a zippered case for the window flap and slide that right in to extra pocket in the Wallet Case. If you're looking for a case for your Palm 50x that you can use as a wallet, you should definitely consider this product.
