Rating: Summary: Will this fit the M505??? Review: I like the flip covers for my Palm V better than the many wallet-types out there, because it makes the whole thing more compact for pocket-toting. However, the stylus-hinge thing on the original (that came with the PDA) had worn down so it wouldn't stay in place any longer (kept slipping out). This product was the only replacement I managed to find, and I was delighted. Significant differences from the original are that the hinge flap is rubber, not leather as on the original, and there is no tooling (recessed area) to make room for the scroll button, meaning it can press on the button when closed (though it's too new to have noted whether that poses a significant problem). I sort of like the picture/business card window on the inside, and the price was right. Whether the plain leather of the original is better than the animal (lizard?) type texture of the leather on this product is purely a subjective judgment-- I preferred the simplicty of the original. However, this fills a need nicely, and I'm glad to have found it (actually, "them"-- two in a pack for one truly low price).

Rating: Summary: Will this fit the M505??? Review: If this will fit the M505 I'd snap it up in a minute. I've long missed the flacp cover for the convenience of keeping my Palm as light and slim as possible but still protecting it. Can anyone answer this question?
Rating: Summary: Surprise! Alive and clicking Review: The case looks good and its durable. But, if you use the alarm/appointment reminder or inadvertently turn the palm on while its in your pocket--watch out. The cover presses on the buttons on the bottom. Even in my suit jacket pocket, with very little pressure on the case, it will start paging through the calendar, draining the battery.
Rating: Summary: Where is my product!!?? Review: The problem of the case pressing on the hardware buttons and then draining your batteries can be solved in software! You want two tiny shareware ($5) programs, available at most Palm software sites such as PalmGear, called StayOffHack and PalmVHack. I carry my Palm V in my pocket with my wallet pressing on the cover and it's no problem with these great hacks. These covers are the only ones that don't bulk-up your slim Palm V or Vx, so thanks to Ron Gouldner for writing the software that makes the covers usable!
