Rating: Summary: For everyone with two distant computers Review: I have three of these cradles all in different colors. This one came with my visor and i think it is the coolest color(it also matches my visor). I have one in my office, one in my dorm room, and one in my house at home and they all help out a great deal. they should just have a feature where they can plug into the wall so if you really need to charge and you dont have a cpu you can do it, also a dc adapter for the car.
Rating: Summary: cool HotSync Review: It looks cool on your desk ... Worked right out of the box. My Visor is synced to Mac OS 8.6 (home - iMac, work - G4), upgraded Palm desktop to V2.6 a graphite cradle at home the Ice at work. HotSync worked at everything I've moved across it so far. Handspring's cradle is a simple molded plastic design, six feet of cable, with four non-skid feet. The method to secure the visor to the cradle isn't great. There is a small square hole just above the battery door on the Visor that catches a peg on the cradle and holds the two together. With Visor attached stability is good and it has a relatively small foot print. What was not as intuitive was the slight downward pressure required to secure and then release the visor from the cradle. While there is plenty of play in the contacts to allow for successfully HotSync without properly securing the Visor to the cradle it is also possible that a simple bump could break the connection. If it is placed on the cradle properly the two units are easy to move and took a few slight bumps without visor fall from the cradle.
Rating: Summary: Handspring Visor USB HotSync Cradle (Ice/Graphite) Review: This USB port HotSync cradle for the Handspring Visor makes downloads and backups to your PC very quick and simple. I wanted to purchase an extra cradle for use at home, but found the shipping and handling charges direct from Handspring to be ridiculously expensive (almost $10.00) Thank you, Amazon, for not beeing greedy and charging exhorbitant shipping and handling charges and also providing prompt delivery.
