Summary: USB or Serial
Review: Excellent cradles either way. I use the USB cradle at home and a serial one at work. You can't tell the difference in speed. The hot sync button on the cradle works like a champ.

Summary: Excellent...have both USB and Serial Hotsync cradle
Review: I have a cradle for a desk top with windows95 and a serial port and a laptop with win98 and a usb port. I find virtually the same performance in both cradles with regards to time, function, compatability, etc. One odd thing that may be unique to my cradles is that the serial cradle holds the visor MUCH MUCH tighter than the USB cradle. I cant really think of a reason that this would be but detatching it from the serial cradle is somewhat of a pain. Possibily with use it will be less "sticky". The data transfer is smooth with both and I hesitated ALOT (!) about getting a cradle for each computer but I am very glad I did. Right after I did my laptop went in for repairs and my visor needed batteries..... you need to hotsync before a battery change...hence my timing was perfect. Perfect timing doesnt happen often in life and I am just thankful it happened this time...before I started losing data. Consider this option if you have a serial port computer you can use...you won't be sorry PS LOVE MY VISOR!

Summary: Must have for Win NT or non-USB equiped PC Owners
Review: This is a must if you don't have a USB port, or if your running Win NT. Goes without saying that synching with a serial device isn't as fast as with the USB cradle, but it does get the job done. I use the USB cradle at home and the serial cradle at the office.
