Summary: The ONLY way to protect your investment
Review: Bought my case after I crunched my first Palm VX. Haven't looked back. Although the case is plastic covered with sheets of aluminum, it does its job very well - I've dropped, sat on, rolled on, leaned against, and generally abused my Palm and haven't recieved 1 scratch yet. As far the review that states it "remains slightly open" - I don't have that problem, and the Palm is in my pocket most of the time, so it's being pressed shut. I can't speak for the "left handed experience", but the southpaws seem to have a valid complaint about this case. As far as removing the case to hot-sync, it is a nuisance, but only because I'm nervous whenever the palm ISN"T in its case - that's how important and functional this item is. Summary: protects rather well, but for a price
Review: I found it expensive when buying it, but I needed something to protect my Palm Vx. I wanted handle my Vx not differently than I would handle a paper agenda: always in my jeans' back pocket. Without hard case that would not have been possible. Pros: good protection, I dropped it several times on hard ground and the palm survived, only a few dents in the plastic of the hard case. And I am sitting on my palm Vx most of the time - try all that with a soft case... "plastic" does not mean its not sturdy, there is even a positive point in having a case which can distort a bit during shock, and this composite aluminium/plastic case does well. Nice looks, and there is room for the graffiti reference sticker and a few business cards in it. Cons: it definitely depresses the contrast button, which is a nuisance. I will shave off a bit of the case to avoid that. And it makes holes in the cloth of the jeans' pocket... the price I bought it was definitely a bit too high. And you have to open it to put it in the cradle - but it is livable. All in all, if you find one, do not throw it away! Especially if the price is lower than the original price.

Summary: Made my Palm truly accesible.
Review: This hard case really enhanced the use of my Palm by allowing me to carry it everywhere in my back pocket. By having it accesible all the time my Palm has become a great enhancement to orginizing my appointments and address book. I love this. If I ever upgrade my Palm to a new model I will be sure to get the hardcase for that model as well.
