Summary: Techno-Origami at its finest!
Review: There's nothing like pulling out your Stowaway Keyboard and unfolding it in front of someone. Their eyes will pop out of their heads. It is an instant conversation piece and is practical to boot!

I wish I used it more often. It saves time whenever inputting information into your Visor.

The only gripe I have is that it would be even better if you could somehow lock the central hinge so that it would remain solid and you could easily and comfortably use it while on your lap.

Summary: No keyboard is better!
Review: I had one of these for my first PDA which was an IBM Workpad, and no other keyboards compare. I currently have a Compaq 3955 and was very pleased to see the keyboard already comes with the adapter (the product description says you have to request the adapter separately from Targus)!

I tried a wireless keyboard, but I had to turn off my infrared port, enable the wireless input, then turn my PDA upside down so it could communicate with the keyboard. Other keyboards were shaped funny and didn't feel too natural. I quickly tired of all this and decided to go back to the Targus Stowaway. Amazon has a great deal and I got this at almost half the price it would have cost at the store.

This is still the best keyboard in my opinion.

Summary: This Is A Must!
Review: I've had my PDA for over a year and recently decided to really get into it. I decided that writing, though a cool function within itself, could be irritating if you had to write alot of notes. I decided to buy the keyboard at a local office supply store. I was very impressed. I wrote Targus because I thought the power supply extension wasn't included (it was "hidden" in the fold of one of the edges-look for it!). They immediatly wrote back and asked me for my shipping information. Let's see if I receive it.

Be careful when opening the area that you dock the PDA into. It can be rather fragile and come off. However, it went back into place and still functioned. One more piece of advice. I got this device for less through Amazon.com. I did notice, however, that they like to move the price up and down alot so you may want to keep your eye on things.

Summary: What a Great Product!
Review: I didn't purchase the Stowaway Keyboard with my first Visor purchase, and tried to become accustomed to the graffiti text but to avail. I only used it for the Address Book and Date Book features because trying to write a memo became an arduous task using the stylus. My Visor gathered dust until I read a review in my Writer's Digest Magazine, that gave a thumbs up for the Stowaway Keyboard for writers on the go. I purchased an upgraded Visor that came as a package deal with the Keyboard and then purchased QuickOffice, which is a word processing software compatible with MS Word and Excel, and I've been using the Stowaway and my Visor for writing ever since, and its a godsend! I take it with me everywhere I go! When I get an inspiration for writing I type away! I use it for journal notations, for a novel I'm currently writing and for just prose when the ideas come to me. Now my laptop has become my home computer and my Visor & Stowaway have become my laptop. I love the command keys you can program, the minimal battery drain using the keyboard, everything! If you write as much as I do, this is a must! I highly recommend this product!

Summary: Visor Edge
Review: I transitioned from a Franklin Planner to a Visor Edge PDA.

I got my keyboard yesterday, and installed the software for the keyboard as soon as I got into the office, and took it to my first meeting of the day. One of my co-workers has the same Visor Edge that I have, and was floored when he saw how easy it was to use the keyboard. He travels alot more than I do, and lugs a laptop around. He is buying one for himself ASAP.

I was able to take more detailed notes faster than I usually do, and was able to synch and share my notes via e-mail.

If you have ever considered getting a keyboard like this for your PDA, I wouldn't hesitate a moment longer.

Summary: frustrated plugging ipaq 3800/3900 adapter to keyboard?
Review: this is what I did...

1. removed the sticker label from the back of the adapter.
2. carved out thin plastic wall with exacto knife. area where sticker label was on.
3. now when I connect the adapter to keyboard. I can see how two metal pieces inside align together.
4.just tilt over and plug it in.

no more frustration plug-in this piece ahhhh..... =)

Summary: Cool little gizmo!
Review: This keyboard feels very much like a regular fullsize keyboard. I found it easier to use than the smaller versions. The keys have a great feel to them, and your hand rests comfortably in position. There are even places to put your stylus. I love this thing!

Summary: Svette!
Review: Overall, very nice. Tactile feel is very good. My only gripe is it's actually larger than a standard keyboard (the keys are a bit larger which makes the overall length longer). So I find myself hitting the single quote key rather than the carriage return key.
