Review: The Sumdex Padded Palm Wallet (Silver) is the answer to a prayer. When I rec'd my Palm IIIxe for a Christmas I was elated. After getting acquainted with it, I realized that I would need some decent exterior protection for my Palm. I heard many horror stories (i.e., a Palm dropping from an owner's hand and hitting the ground, a Palm falling into the toilet). My problem was to find something adequate for protection, small enough to fit into a small purse and not double as a wallet, and one that is reasonably priced. I shopped around for months looking for one that would fit my critieria.As always, I came to Amazon, to shop around for a little of this and a little of that and decided to check into the electronics department. I must admit, initially I didn't see the Sumdex Padded Palm Wallet (Silver). I came a few weeks later to purchase the leather Sumdex Palm holder and I notice the silver Sumdex listed. I ordered it without hesitation. I just rec'd it and it is quite a treat. It has adequate room, the batteries fit snugly in the case and it fits great into my SMALL purse. Not to mention, it is VERY attractive. This is an XLNT(!!!) buy. If you are looking for the things I have listed above, this is the one. I notice the other colors (yellow and sapphire blue are the ones I know about) had sold out (I am sure AMAZON.com will replenish) but it just goes to show that this is a popular item.

Review: The Sumdex Padded Palm Wallet ia great for protection but where is the wallet where to put money. It is totally empty on the inside. No pockets no nothing.

Review: There is no picture of the inside of this case becase there is nothing there - no slots for businsess cards, credit cards, extra pen, etc. This carrying case is good for a little extra protection and that's about it. But I would suggest going with something that gives you a couple more convinces if you are shopping for a carrying case.

Summary: Just right for me!
Review: This case is fits like a glove. This is an excellent case, in many ways superior to those priced in the $20 - $50 range, if not truly superior. I have yet to drop my Palm IIIc in it--hopefully, I never will--but it looks competent enough to protect it from damage. The case is very firm, but absorbant. I'm told it's waterproof, or water-resistant--let's hope I never find out. I got the yellow one (or gold) and though the color doesn't look the same in real life as it does the Amazon.com picture, I still like how bright it is. What I don't like is that it provides you with a velcro thingy to secure your Palm inside. No thanks! I refuse to deface my Palm with scratchy, nasty old velcro. I mean, if you put that velcro sticker on its back, that's forever. No sir. I'll just have to be careful opening the case, so that it doesn't fall out. It's stylish, very modern-looking. If you want an inexpensive alternative to the other, very similar products for protecting your PDAs, this is your savior. At [the price], how can you go wrong?

Review: This case is much too big for Palm Zire, and also cheap looking. I don't like it at all and will not use it.

Summary: Perfect protection for your Palm
Review: This case is the one I've been looking for since I got my Palm over a year ago. First of all, the price is right. Other cases, inferior ones at that, regularly go for two to three times the price of this one. And what makes this case so special? It's lightweight, padded on the inside, and most importantly, it's quite rugged on the outside. Unlike some case which have a soft flimsy feel, this one has a sturdy toughness which leads me to believe that I could drop the palm in the case from a substantial height without doing any damage. No, I haven't tried (though it is tempting), but the case really feels more durable than other cases I've seen and for that reason I recommend it highly to anyone.

Review: This PDA case is almost perfect. I have found it to be durable and effective at protecting my Palm from harm. The bright color makes my Palm easy to find on my cluttered desk. If the case had pockets for expansion cards and so forth, it would be perfect!
