Rating: Summary: An under-rated case... Review: Everyone tends to ignore the manufacturer cases, focusing on the expensive products by Vaja or Coach, but the CA-60 is actually well-thought out.It adds barely any bulk to the case, making it ideal for protecting your T-series Clie in your pocket or purse. The interior is a soft, sueded midnight blue that cushions the rear and screen of your Clie. The tab slide closure holds it securely shut (it is a little tight at first, but wears in nicely). The Sony logo is elegantly embossed in the front of the case. What it doesn't have: bulk; slots for memory sticks or credit cards; a magnetic closure that will erase your credit cards and memory sticks. If you want a wallet case to hold your Clie and more, don't bother with the CA-60. If you want a sleek leather case that emphasizes the slim lines of your T-series Clie, this is the case for you. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the [price] is a little high. If you can find it cheaper, like I did, go for it!
Rating: Summary: Great case Review: I purchased the Sony Clie PEG-T615 around two months ago and with it, the Sony Carrying Case... It's great! Really, the leather is well made (must be, it's from Sony), you don't have to remove case when doing the hot-synch, and it looks very classy. Overall, it's a very good buy; even better than most of the other carrying cases I've surveyed.
Rating: Summary: Best T-series Clie case!!! Review: Not expecting much from the poor pictures on the sony and amazon sites, I was extremely pleased with this particular case. It is thin and sleek, fits the shape of the t-clies perfectly. As you may have noticed, the t-series is much thinner than most pda's and generic cases add much bulk. The case attaches to the clie similar to the standard flip cover with the plastic prongs in the back. A small flap is at the back which works fine to keep the case closed. Leather material is excellent and velvet lining is a nice touch as all. If you've been looking for a case to replace the standard cover, this is it. It doesnt carry anything other than the pda itself, like business cards, memory sticks, etc...but that suit my needs and im sure many others just fine.
Rating: Summary: Not worth it! Review: The Sony Clie T615C, now with the price cut, is a great bargain; however, the designers at Sony didn't put much thought into the cover which doesn't really do much except flop back and forth and get in the way. The carrying case, unfortunately, isn't that much of an improvement. It's basically like the cover that comes with it with a back and a flap that slips onto the back. It's not as convenient as one might hope. In all, I'd say it's not worth it.
Rating: Summary: Correcting a falsehood in the previous review Review: Whoever wrote the previous review most likely just wanted to sell their case or something.
This line in particular is incorrect:
The case attaches to the clie similar to the standard flip cover with the plastic prongs in the back.
I just bought the case from one of the "used" section. It's new though, and definitely doesn't have any prongs. All it has is the little leather flab, which to me is quite disappointing. If you open the case to use your pda, there will be nothing holding the case to the pda. It'll just flap around even more than the original cover did (which at least had the prongs to hold the case in) and just be another annoying thing to carry while you're trying to use your pda.
Anyways, that's a pretty big annoyance for me, but if you don't mind, then it's fine in every other respect.
