Summary: Better than it looks in the picture...
Review: The picture that is shown for this item makes it look like a much paler blue than the faceplate really is. I am actually trying to get ahold of the Pacific Blue cover, but no one has that in stock, so i picked up a Blue Mist to satisfy my need for a color faceplate.Some reviews i've read criticize the faceplates for being only the front of the palm. I think it looks neat, though, with the blue front and black back. I suppose if you're getting the faceplate so other people will think you're cool, that might be an issue. I got the faceplate so i'd have a colored border around the screen, and i don't spend much time staring at the side or back of my m100, so even if i didn't like the half-and-half look, it wouldn't be the end of the world. the only complaint i have is actually more the fault of my m100 case than the faceplate. I use the leather flip-case for my palm, and it covers up almost the entire faceplate. but i can still see part of it, so that's not the end of the world either.

Summary: Don't let your Palm run around naked...
Review: First off, look at all of the faceplates before you buy anything - there are about 19 in all. Second, budget the price of a faceplate (or 2+) in addition to the Palm device if you're researching the purchase, because most people want one eventually. I am completely happy with the Blue Boa plate because it's dark enough not to cause eye strain from light/dark contrast, it's a subtle pattern instead of a solid, and the blue is just amazing - it's everything I've ever wanted from the color blue. No joke. The colors of the faceplates do not come through on my monitor like they do in person, I guess because it's a 2D/3D problem, and lighting can make all the difference. I liked the Silver Snake plate better onscreen than I do in reality because the contrast just doesn't work for my eyes. My perspective on productivity and price: Several people commented that the color faceplates were the deciding feature in purchasing an M series Palm over other models. I truly believe the faceplates enhance productivity because they touch an aesthetic or feeling (or inner toddler) or whatever that triggers positive thoughts about the device in general, so you use it more and it gains greater value in your life.

Review: I got a whole set of these because the original one that my Palm came with was getting kind of boring. I like being able to change it whenever I like. The first couple of times, I had trouble getting the cover off, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy.

Summary: Green Mist looks o.k. in pictures - looks awesome in person!
Review: I am so thrilled with the Green Mist faceplate that I am taking a moment out of my hectic day to write about it. This color complements the screen color of the Palm more than you can tell from the pictures. A more accurate name for it would be Green Gold. I bought it because I read somewhere that it looked better in person and it was cheaper than others, and I'm much happier than I thought I would be with it - I can't take it off! It's one of the lowest priced **true** Palm faceplates, and after testing a series of off-brand faceplates for less than a dollar each I purchased on eBay, I want to warn everyone DO NOT BUY OFF-BRAND FACEPLATES - THEY CAN DAMAGE YOUR PALM AND GENERALLY DO NOT FIT THE DEVICE PROPERLY. Palm's faceplates cost a lot more than imitations, but at least you know they are fitted to the device correctly. Don't make the same mistake I did - only buy Palm manufactured faceplates!

Review: I got the silver mist faceplate, and my Palm M100 looks very cool. The only thing that gave me any trouble was that the original faceplate didn't come off very easily; I thought it was just supposed to pop off, but I was afraid maybe I was supposed to unscrew something, because it felt like it was going to break if I pulled it any harder. But I finally just wrenched it off, and it was fine. The new one snapped on easily, and it looks great. I also love that you can get the faceplates so cheap on Amazon. I recommend buying one; it's fun and worth it.

Review: This Faceplate really adds countour and color to the palm, making a good transition from half black to half white. Definitly a fashion statement. I would definitely reccomend one.....65cents, how can you go wrong?

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: When this came in the mail, I was very disappointed because it looked like cheap plastic. I expected a shiny rich colored blue mist color (just like in the picture). Instead, what I got is this cheap looking blue mist plastic face plate. I gave it two stars because the price is cheap (but I still had to pay shipping and handling). Even so, I still probably would not use this because it's just too cheap looking!

Review: I am very impressed with this particular faceplate. It looked like the shiny wooden dashboard of those nice cars! It gave my palm pilot a very classy and elegant look.
