Rating: Summary: Watch out for this Case! Review: I bought this case a few weeks ago, and suddenly my Visor batteries started to run down in about a day. Turns out that the front of the case taps the screen and keeps it on all of the time. Very lame! Even worse... Here was my response when I wrote to Handspring technical support: Thank you for your email. Yes, actually when you close the case it causes the Visor to turn on. I suggest that you turn the Visor face down when closing the case.Thank you, Handspring Technical Support What kind of solution is that? Turn the Visor face down??? That's crazy. It makes the device very inaccessible, which is a total pain. Anyway, was hoping to keep others from having to suffer this problem
Rating: Summary: This case takes the power Review: Just as stated in other reviews, this case does drain the heck out of the batteries. I have owned my Visor Deluxe for only 17 days and I just inserted the third set of batteries! This bothered me since the FAQ's stated that the batteries should last at least 30 days. When I contacted customer support, I found that it could be the case. Now I am searching online for a new case. As a woman carrying a PDA in a pocketbook, it just isn't feasible to ask me to turn it upside down in my purse. How absurd. Spend the extra $10-15 for a good aluminum case.
Rating: Summary: This case takes the power Review: The pros: $29.95 isn't that expensive. There is an internal pocket for business cards and a slot for a stylus or small pen. The leather is of decent quality. Workmanship appears to be thorough. The cons: There is no protection for the top, side or bottom of the machine. Also, a sheet of plastic integrated into the cover would have been smart idea since there is nothing rigid to protect the screen. This drawback is compounded by the snap button (located on the front) which must been pressed down against the screen, potentially causing scratches. The color isn't orange; it's more like a dark mustard or gold color. It is an interesting shade, but doesn't match the Visor. In addition, the Visor pops out of its brackets if you're not careful when closing the case, but this problem might go away as the leather is "broken in." Summary: This is an adequate case for an acceptable price. Overall, the size isn't much bigger than the plastic cover and slipcase that comes with the Visor Deluxe package. If you're looking for something less awkward than the Deluxe case/cover, this product may tide you over until something more innovative becomes available.

Rating: Summary: Not Bad Review: This case is attractive and small, both features that I was looking for. The case is a tight fit but manipulating the leather to increase the softness is working. I haven't had the problem of the case draining the batteries but if you do turn the visor over I think it would provide more protection. All in all the price was right and the quality of the leather is good. It is difficult to remove the stylus within the unit when it is snapped into the case. Small inconvenience, I like it.
