Summary: It works, but be warned...
Review: I followed the instruction hints from SGRANNELL and this cable works fine for my m130 on my Dell laptop. It DID NOT work until I hotsynced with the powered PALM cradle first. Think of this cable as a replacement for an already working cradle and it will work just fine for you, too. It may NOT work if you have never hotsynced with the computer before. It somehow needs a PALM cradle to "show it how" first. I rate it four stars for complete lack of instructions in the package and problems mentioned above.

Summary: It works! Honest!
Review: I was obviously sceptical reading these two reviews, so I bought mine at the mall so I could return it when it didn't work.I plugged it in and it works fine (M130, Windows XP). Perhaps the secret is to install the cradle and all the software, get that working and then swap out the cradle for this cable. Not sure what the problem is... it does what it says on the box.

Summary: NG with Palm m125
Review: This cable DOES NOT WORK with my Palm m125. The package labeling indicates only two models in the m500 series. The connector fits the m125 fine, but it locks down the Palm by seemingly shorting the dc power in the Palm. In fact, I had to do a hard-reset on the Palm after attempting to hotsync with this cable attached. (Everything works fine with the Palm USB cradle supplied with the Palm.) I recommend sticking with the Palm USB cable or going with something specifically labeled for use with your particular model of Palm.
