Summary: free with unit, what's not to like?!
Review: Bought this to protect my SJ22. Had a plam M125 and it was dropped and never worked right again. Having the clie on your belt is very handy.

Review: Functional, simple. Free with my purchase of the SJ22. Also, doesn't look bad, plain and sleek.

Summary: Belt Loop != Belt Clip
Review: The Sony PEGA-CA22 carrying case is servicable, but I regret buying it.

It's made of faux leather, and the flap uses velcro. It holds a Clie PEG-SJ20 snugly when its protective flap attached. When the PDA is inside without that flap, the fit isn't so snug. There is a tight "pouch" into which you can cram business cards, but you have to loosen it and stretch it out first, unless you intend to receive only metallic business cards. The case is slightly crushable, so for example you can deform it by stepping on it.

It has a belt loop in the back, but woe to me who just now discovered the difference between a belt LOOP and a belt CLIP. I need some way to carry around my PDA on rounds in the hospital when I'm wearing scrubs, which means I have no belt, and no pockets. So a belt loop, through which you insert your belt, is useless. A belt clip, which you clip on the top of your pants (and then tie them on tight and hope you have some good hips), was what I wanted.

Oh well. I probably should have done some bricks & mortar research before buying this. Really all I want is some way to clip my Clie PEG-SJ20 onto the top of my scrub pants, in such a way that's as light and streamlined as possible, without any extra weight, thickness, or pockets for junk I won't be toting around as I pace through hospitals at 4 in the morning. And oh yes -- it can't be leather.

I thought this case was the solution, but it's not, and the search continues.

Summary: Fits Clie SJ20 well, has well holding belt loop
Review: Very good and well fitting for the SJ20, feels very secure on the belt. Velcro closure works well. Has decent amount of padding. This is good if you are looking for a case you do not have to hand-carry, and keeps Clie secure
