Rating: Summary: You'll need one Review: A very useful accessory that should come with the IPAQ
Rating: Summary: A must have for all ipaq users Review: Although it increases the weight of the unit, it is well worth this extra storage space given.
Rating: Summary: Good...But big Review: Before I begin, I love my iPaq. However, this is my biggest gripe with the iPaq, they need this expansion pack to throw a CF card into them. Without it, the iPaq is small and sleek; with it, it's huge. And, with the sheer amount of stuff out there with Compact Flash connectivity (modem, networking, CF cards, etc), I think it is inane that Compaq didn't at least include it with the iPaq. Or, better yet, build a CF slot into the machine. Still, it is necessary for what I think is the best PDA on the market. While I think the idea is dumb, it works great and isn't all that expensive. Hence my 4 star rating
Rating: Summary: EXCELENTE ACCESORIO PARA IPAQ POCKET PC!!! Antonio.
Rating: Summary: Not bad, but not great either Review: For 40 bucks, you can't really go wrong, or can you..... Listen, if you are using this just for the purpose of backing up files, go with it, but if you are going to be using this very often i recommend the pc card one. Of course it's a little bigger, but if you are going to add to the size anyway for the compact flash card slot, you might as well go for the pc card. The battery helps a lot and I can usually get 3 to 4 hours of use out of my PDA. 8-9 hours for mp3's. This is a good product, but by no means the best.
Rating: Summary: Works perfectly Review: I agree with most other reviewers, that this SHOULD be included when buying an IPaq. All the others do. Now, it does add a little bulk to the size of the ipaq, but it by no means makes it inconvenient.
Rating: Summary: Works great but doesn't fit in a case Review: I bought this Expansion pack when i bought my new Compaq Ipaq 3765. I have used it for about a month now and i really like it. The Ipaq fits in it very well and it does make the Ipaq easier to hold when i am walking around the office or at home answering email or surfing the net. I use a Linksys compact flash 802.11b card plugged into this sleeve to connect to my company's intranet I do have a problem with the size in that none of the cases will hold the Ipaq with the expansion slot on. This makes it a little hard because when i leave the office i have to take the sleeve off to put the unit in its case for the trip home, or take the chance of scratching the face of the Ipaq. I am kind of worried about how long the connector will last with this kind of use. Over all it is a very good product. I have not had any problems with this piece and for the price it is worth it... you won't go wrong.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Slightly bulky though. Review: I bought this for my iPaq 3650. It works great but it adds a lot of bulk. As most of iPaq owners know, the iPaq is slitly bulky by itself, so when you add the CF Exp. Pack it's even bulkier. It is a great acessory, it has lots of advanteages (especially if you use your iPaq as an MP3 player a lot) It makes life easier! The only con is the bulkyness.
Rating: Summary: An iPAQ MUST HAVE! Review: I have purchased this from my Compaq iPAQ a few days ago. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR iPAQ! Before, I was only able to store a few things on my iPAQ, and then all the memory was full. So I purchased this and a memory card, and now a can store MANY items on it now -- including mp3's emails, apps from the web, and other personal information. If you have not purchased this yet, you MUST buy this NOW! If you dont have this, then your iPAQ is just going to be another useless gadget that sits on the counter and collects dust. Also, if you purchase this, you may want to buy the 56k modem, and a Compact Flash memory card. These will come in handy if you want to get on the internet, or add more memory to your iPAQ. On a scale from 1-10, I rate this a 20 -- a MUST HAVE!
Rating: Summary: Great if you need more space for your files... Review: I learned quickly that while the iPAQ was a great PDA, I used the onboard storage up quick. An e-book or two, a map or 3, maybe a couple of mp3, all of your "pocket outlook" files, avant go content and, heaven forbid, a short video file and you don't have any memory left at all... you can't even rub two bits together! If you don't want to spend the coin for the PC Card expansion pack and battery time isn't a big issue to you, then this is a great solution. You can throw in any of several compact flash modules or, if you are a real space junkie you can use an IBM microdrive in it. At about a fourth of the cost of a PC Card pack you can add in that extra 128 mb. A warning tho. Given the opportunity to add in more storage, you will want to. I think everyone who can will want a Microdrive in this thing at one point or another. Sure, it drains the battery a bit more but in my opinion that is more from you using the content you carry more often and not a serious drain from the expansion pack. Happy computing.
