Summary: Better value than IPaq
Review: After using a Palm V for close to two years, I decided that Pocket PCs pack a lot more into a PDA.... I did read about a lot of problems the early production models had beginning in Jan 2002. Make sure you get one with "5AP122" in the serial number (my E-200 from Amazon did).I'm very impressed with tge E-200. I'm using it with a Lynksys WCF11 802.11b card. It flakes out a little when I move to different wireless networks, but this may be the card's fault. Bottom Line: The E-200 is a great deal for the money. I'm not sure how its resale value will hold up against the iPAQ models, but I'm very happy overall.

Review: This is a nice color PDA for the money. However, I was disappointed to find out that the calendar does not automatically change to show the current date like all the other PDA's do. Calling Casio technical support didn't get much help on this issue either...

Summary: A review for the non professionals lookin for a cool toy
Review: My review isn't going to be about how I can use the BE-300 for business (although I'm sure it is excellent at that), it's more for those who are thinking about getting one just for fun and a little personal organization. First of all, I love this thing...it has beautiful color and has a bunch of different brightness settings. You can even change your color theme, much like on a PC. I use this to write down thoughts, song and video ideas, reminders with alarms and the calendar for schedules. HOWEVER...the things I love most about this pocket wonder are: 1. You can bring it to school work, whatever. I wish I had this before I graduated. Store pictures that you wanted to show people, but you don't want to get lost or ruined...or carry around the bulky stack. The pictures look great on the color screen and you can store plenty, especially with an extra memory card! 2. Plug in some headphones and listen to MP3s after a test or whenever when there is nothing to do. Get an extra memory card and store a ton of songs, with what in my opinion, is awesome sound. It's a little light on the bass, but it is by far good enough. 3. The best thing about this little machine, in my young minded opinion, is the fact that you can store video on it! I bought a memory card that has an extra 120 megabytes, and stored two episodes of Friends, a couple pictures, and some MP3s on here. Whenever I'm somewhere waiting around really bored, I can get this from my car, and watch the show - which plays in a windows media player type thing. The size is obviously incredibly small, about a little over one square inch, but I couldn't care less...for all that this thing does, it just amazes me that I can watch some episodes. The gadget comes with software to view the pictures, video and listen to the MP3s. Also comes with a video converter so you can convert your video into compact Casio video files on your PC...then just hook the USB cord into the PC and viola, transfer the stuff you want. This is probably the smallest thing you can watch video on, and is functional in so many other ways. Why buy an MP3 player when you can have this, for generally less, AND watch and listen to video, take notes, set an alarm, make a schedule, view pictures, play games, check email and even search the internet with a wireless modem to check the waves, see the score, read about new music and movies-etc etc etc on the go. The possibilities seem endless with this tiny thing. Oh how jealous the others will be.

Summary: AWESOME ALL U NEED 2 NO IS ITS AWESOME
Review: This is an awesome Pocket PC. I used to have a Palm IIIC. Then it broke. I was lookin for an affordable Pocket PC instead of a palm pilot. The Casio Cassiopeia BE-300 is AWESOME!!!!!!! If your lookin for a nice affordable Pocket PC I recomend it 2 u! This is way cooler then Palm Pilots even though there arent as many applications for it as palm has. 1 really cool feature is The MP3 player. If you want alot of songs I recomend gettin a 128 MB card for it.

Summary: CASIO BE-300
Review: The Casio BE-300 is great for school work and keeping small notes. The color is great and it dosen't have the strange blurry effect like the Hewlett Packard. You may think that 16 MB is not enough, well your wrong. The 16 MB is perfect and you can upgrade if needed, thats perfect. I know alot about electronics and this is one you should consider. I looked at the Compaq iPAQ and the three other top competors, none come close. The BE-300 is the best for your money and is perfect for anyone. Anyone going to school can use this, and its wise to get this model. BUY THE CASIO BE-300!! YOU WONT BE SORRY. ITS GREAT!!!

Summary: Casio BE-300 Pocket Manager
Review: I purchased my casio BE-300 pocket manager after my friend bought one. I am not a technical person by any means but the casio was user friendly for me. I searched for a lower price because I know how bored I get with electronics. I found a used casio on Amazon and took a chance. Not only was it delivered in 3 days, but the seller was friendly and offered to assist me in the future if I needed any help. I was impressed. By the way, I LOVE MY CASIO BE-300 POCKET MANAGER!!!!!!!

Summary: Cassiopeia E-200 Pocket PC
Review: This is my second Cassiopeia. I loved the first (E-115) for most things, but it was slow on larger tasks. Before I purchased my E-200, I spent a lot of time looking at the IPAQ's, and Jordan, and a few others. I was still attracted back to the Casio. With the 200, they obviously went with Intel StrongARM, what I didn't like about the other reviews is the IPAQ would say StrongARM 32 bit, while the Casio would say StrongARM SA-1110, (no mention of 32 bit)... well it is. The E-200's screen is a lot better then it's predecessors, although this seems to effect the color a bit. It works well in daylight, better then it's competitors in my opinion. The new look is very comfortable with the smaller, more ergonomic feel, as opposed to what used look like a little brick. I like some of the free software that comes in the Casio pack as well. I will mention one frustrating fact about the E-200... the cradle. You have to push very firmly to get it to mount properly. This is a little scary for fear that you will damage it, but you soon get used to how it works. From what I have seen, it's capable of doing everything it's competitors can do, it just does it little better. If your looking for a Pocket PC (PPC), they don't get better then this... for now! The E-200 seems to be a kept secret in the PPC world, IPAQ has all the attention, but Casio has the quality for me. What surprised me most is, everywhere I look, I see IPAQ stuff, in reviews, all the peripherals, but every where you go, the E-200 is sold out.

Summary: Good Try
Review: This may seem nice for the outside but on the inside it seems to have fallen short on it's operating system. This PDA's OS was based on Windows CE but it is not win CE. There for it is harder to get software that is compadable with it. The one good thing that it does have is it's MP3 player which sounds good but is a little weak when it comes to being able to control a some.

Review: The best investment I have ever made. Why I waited so long I do not know. The Casiopeia BE-300 has everything I want at a pefect cost. For other folks you should purchase this. It's worth it and espcially with an additional memory card at a great price.

Very poor documentation It is a very nice PDA with tons of good features and Additional software, most of them under 10$. If you read carefully you find, this PDA doesn't use Microsoft Pocket PC and uses Casio's own version of Window CE, so you cannot use the goodies from Microsoft like Pocket Word, Pocket Excel and Street. But other wise the third party software are quite nice you dont feel the need for Microsoft Pocket Suite. The color screen is good enough to view 220x260, true color pictures crisp. It has enough of space to store a lot of addresses, pictures and even a small home video !!!
