Summary: An Outstanding PDA For The Money!!!!
Review: I was VERY pleased with my purchase of the Clie T665C. I bought it as a replacement for my Palm IIIxe. I am a consultant who travels Mon-Thu, so my review may concentrate on the travelling business person.

Here are some of the highlights:

(1) I haven't found the battery life to be a problem. I actually prefer it to my IIIxe, which would EAT up AAA batteries like crazy!! I always had to carry an extra set. With the T665C, I just need to get to an outlet. I can let it charge in the hotel overnight.

(2) I use Lotus Notes for e-mail, addresses, to-do's, calendar, and journal. This synchs up great with the T-665C using Lotus EasySync (not included).

(3) The audio player is a great accessory. I can copy audio files to the PDA and play them on the airplane, etc. As it has been stated before, you DON'T need a special memory stick, you'll just need to copy the audio files directly into the MSAUDIO directory of the memory stick using MS Import (included).

(4) I also very much enjoy the Mobipocket application (included). This application allows me to download news and business from FoxNews, Bloomberg, Newsweek, etc for FREE and read them on the plane as well.

(5) The screen, resolution, etc are much more than I imagined. I carry updated pictures of my family and they show up great. I also download short movies taken from my digital camera and can play them as well with the included software.

I would make this purchase again in a HEARTBEAT!!!

Summary: Come on Sony give us Mac users a break!!
Review: I am only giving the Clie T-655C 4 stars because it is not Mac compatable yet. You still have to buy the ...Missing Sync patch to get it to work. So we are having to shell out more to use the PDA. I do feel that it is worth it. I am happy that I can download MP3 files directly for iTunes by dragging them to the disk. I am not sure how that works with a PC. The color on the screen is beatuiful. I have found may uses for my Clie like making list on the go, to playing games. It makes it simple to stay organized with all my to do lists, phone lists and documents I might not other wise have. Plus it is light weight, and easy to fit in your handbag or pocket. The only problem that I had with my at first was the on screen key-board would not pop-up on the letters side of the graffiti pad. That lasted about 2 weeks. I would have to keep soft booting , and then go through the Clie Welcome screens to recalibrate the graffiti pad. Now I am not having a problem with that. It does seem to charge faster in the cradle than with the travel cord. I would defintally recomend this PDA to someone else. Unlike others I have not had a problem with the battery running down too quickley, unless I am playing games on it. Which is naturally to be expected.

Summary: We bought a second one
Review: Our household has used Palm for years. I bought my husband a Clie for x-mas because he wanted a MP3 player built in. I admit it took a couple weeks to figure out the MP3 player and several calls to Sony Tech but it works great now. You can use the regular purple disks. I have a Sony computer and download directly into that slot and they work great on the Clie. I just bought one to replace my old Palm and I didn't think I'd ever replace it. Our household finds it easy to go back and forth between the Palms and Clies. We have 3 Palms and 2 Clies working on the Sony software no problem. Palm doesn't have anything that compares.
