Summary: Better than a Palm, and cheaper, too!
Review: It's expandable which Palm isn't for the same price, and comes with more memory to start with also. You can turn this thing into a cell phone which gives you internet access along with ability to talk to anyone you want for the same price per month as a cell phone! I also think this is a good idea for parents to give to their highschool children as well. (I'm 26) This way kids can remember their appointments, and you can call them up to come home! Also, don't quote me, but I think the air phone attachment comes with unlimited minutes for $29.00/month. That's a beeper/cell phone/and sticky note pad all in one! And no excuses for not finishing homework, either! I'm personally upgrading to a handheld PC for the Windows CE and mostly for Excel and Word, but that's the difference between $550 and $169, plus mine can't turn into a phone!

Summary: A Fine handheld indeed !
Review: I have owned an m100 and a Visor. I found the expandabillity of the visor to be excellent to hat of the m100. The m105 is a good option for this. The visor is a good option for those who need to have a lot of application i.e more than 20 or so of good sizes, along with memos and contact details.

The visor doesn't come cheap at .... The ideal price for a visor is .... All the hype about the springboard expansion slots was for no reason. It is no big deal.

The screen of the visor isn't very crisp as the m100. It is a little dull. The common thing in all handhelds is the fragile surface of the weriting area. It gets scratched very easily, especially in the Visor.

Summary: Very Cool, totally worth it.
Review: Being im only 12, im not sure why i bid on this on ebay, but it was totally worth it. I use it at school alot, Ive downloaded a program called GradePoint, it keeps track of all my homework assignments and stuff. I used to use a PalmV with 2mb of memory, I managed to fill that up. I gave the HSVDLX 4 stars because of its horrible tech support, and its Infrared port is on the side. My cradle would only work when I performed a hard reset, losing all my data. Then i could use it once and it wouldnt work after that. Then i called tech support and they said they would escalate my call up a few levels and someone was going to call me back the next day. It never happened. Im also pretty scared to drop it, alot of people say that the screen cracks easy.

Summary: a truly great starter
Review: The orange creamsicle was my first Visor and my first PDA. It gave me truly outstanding service without any problems.

The pros are outstanding service without any outstanding bugs, it supports just about all modern Palm OS applications and looks pretty damn cute.

The cons are it goes through AAA batteries every other week if you are lucky (which I doubt is different from other PDAs) which is just a pain to be constantly buying batteries. The slip case that comes with this model is awesome, but has no pockets for anything else (business/credit cards, id, etc). If you purchase this model, I suggest the Handspring slim case as it gives the best protection with the smallest size and has pockets for these as well.

I have since purchased a Visor Edge because it is smaller, lighter and rechargable; but I gave the Deluxe to my best friend to get her started out.

Summary: Great Basic Handheld
Review: Great customer service. This is a great basic handheld device. Many people make a big deal about the limited amount of memory 8 megs. (newer models have more), and that its not color, but for the life of me I don't know why. As a basic business user, i.e., for contacts, calendar, books, and games, it works just fine. At the new lower price, this is the perfect entry level or work horse standard device running the Palm OS. The only complaint that I have is that it is a little bulky to carry around in ones pant pocket, but other than that, it can't be beat on either customer service or customer satisfaction.

Summary: Lifesaver!
Review: The Visor Deluxe is a great product to keep you organized. I don't know what I would've done without it this past year. You're in a better place now, though, because they've gone down considerably in price since I bought it. It's a great versatile product, much better than the palm pilot. I recommend also buying the back-up module to save all your info just in case a fatal error occurs. Sometimes it happens due to bad downloads or something like that. Go ahead and get it. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Fun & Expandable
Review: My husband & I got his & her blue Visor Deluxe. I absolutely love mine & I know my husband does too, as much as he likes to play with it & use it for his work.. We have since combined 4 address books onto the visor, downloaded games & news & travel info.. I use it all the time for everyday info & scheduling.. As much as I have used it, I haven't needed to expand yet to more memory or external components.. It's nice to know, like another review said, that if I want to be able to use the telephone device or GPS I can expand. The only downer about the PDA I would think is it's need for AAA batteries.. So far I haven't had to replace mine yet.. but they still make batteries so no problem there. =)

Review: I just purchased a Visor Deluxe, even after reading the reviews. A few don'ts that will help you with your PDA.... Don't drop your Visor or Palm, for that matter any other piece of electronic equipment you have... Don't put it in your rear pocket, forget about it and then sit on it.... Don't subject it to high temperatures or extremely low temperatures... Don't take it in the shower with you, you can wait till you are dry, you aren't really that busy, are you ?.... If you follow these simple guidelines you can most likely expect your PDA to serve you well.
Now as for me....... I am an analog kinda guy, I still shoot REAL film and I wasn't quite sure I needed this little puppy. I did need my GPS unit, but thats another story. I fretted about buying one. Then dicided what the heck. One reason I bought it is to track my photography and put it on my computer so I'll have some track of my work. This is the perfect device for this, plus I can keep track of things coming up. Like my daughter's busy schedule, my schedule (not anything like my daughter's), keep track of my wife's schedule, store phone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses and have a few games to waist my time on. Now that I have it, only had it a few days I really, really like it, sure its one more thing to keep track of, but I still like it. And I have found its not as hard to use as I thought.
I also read one review that said the graffiti program was, well worthless to put it mildly. I found, I fell right into using it no problem, sure I ocasionallt make a boo boo, but hey life ain't perfect. Besides I make mistakes here at the computer and in my normal handwriting. So its no big deal.
If you want a neat gadget that will help you keep track of your schedule, no it won't simplify things, but it cam help you organize the confusion in your life. If thats what you want buy one, if not forget it.

Summary: Work and Play-all in one
Review: I got the Visor handspring a couple of months ago just to get on the Palm-bandwagon. However, now I can't imagine functioning without it. I use it for everything from business documents, to taking pictures, to organzing my wardrobe! The best part is that there are thousands of websites you can go to get free downloads!
Right now I am investing in the other modules and so far I have had no problems. I was never a computer 'geek', but now I spend hours on the computer looking for updates and ways to make it even niftier. If you own one and you are looking for fun stuff, try 'ActiveSky Media' -it's cool because now I can even watch short films on my palm! (Because of the picture quality, cartoons are the best bet).
I made a mistake syncing once and lost ALL of my information so I have ordered the backup module, but even with that, I am still impressed. Besides, now I figured out how to retrieve 'archived data'. It's definitely worth every penny and more!
