Summary: Easy to use
Review: This PDA is attractive and very easy to use. I have already started to add software. I have one small caveat, more of an advisory. If you use Yahoo! for online storage of your calendar, address book, etc. and use Intellisync for Yahoo! to synchronize your online info and your Visor, you may not be able to use the proprietary software that comes with the Visor. I had a Rex 6000 and could use both its software and Yahoo's. But that is apparently not the case with the Visor. This is not a major drawback for me but if you use and like Yahoo!, you should keep it in mind.

Summary: Good BUT beware of construction, customer service, and warra
Review: Generally all systems worked well, intergrated very easily and up loading of software was very easy. HOWEVER, Very reasonably priced but some design flaws require a overall gentle touch. After 4 of months the frame around the screen started coming loose. Batteries are hard to remove (no easy ribbon feature-needs to be done every 2 mo on avg)-in the process of getting them out the screen cracked cleanly all the way across. Since this is the interface-it made the PDA completely useless.
Warranty was useless 1)b/c it is only 90 days 2)they don't cover screen replacements (even within the 90 days). It costs [alot] to replace the screen. Its been less than a year....My guess that replacing it would be more expensive.
The concern is that handspring products overall are a little less durable. Both Palm and Sony have 1 yr warranties that include screen replacements. Even after the first year the screen replacement is less...Asthetically Hansprings look a little cheaper and plasticy-I would say that this is a case where the book can be judged by its cover.

Judging from other reviews this is not uncommon with the handspring deluxe

Summary: AWESOME!
Review: I wish I had purchased this Visor before and now I cannot think of going anywhere without it.

Summary: Loved my Visor second time around!
Review: I have enjoyed my second visor immensely! My first one was a lemon....but the technical support was great and I had another one in a short time. I have not had any trouble since and it has been over a year! The best part is the reduction in price since I bought mine!

Summary: Great bang for your buck
Review: Good solid PDA. Nothing fancy about it but it does the job for your day to day needs. Battery life is average.

Summary: Great but No Color
Review: I bought this PDA when color PDA's were rare. I wish I would have waited for the color ones. This PDA is great looking and I have never had problems with the PDA or it's software. I use this thing everyday to plan my busy work day. I would suggest this for any student, worker, or executive. I would buy another product from Handspring. The price is right and the support is awsome.

Summary: Worth every penny
Review: (...)The Visor
Deluxe has never disappointed me. I admit that I saved $($$) on
mine but now, (because of a large price drop, this is )cheap for 8 MB. I've put three games, used six months of appointments, put in 20 pages of notes and input 25 addresses and I still haven't used up half the memory. Trust me, 8 MB goes a long way. The screen is large and easy to use too. The M100 has a (not so good)screen and it's tough using the stylus because the screen is embedded so deep into the body.

(...)I've had my Visor Deluxe for a year and it has never had a single problem. And customer service is fast. My hotsync cradle broke down. One 45-second phone call and they shipped me a new one free the next day. (...)

(..)Handspring lets you remove (the flip cover) if necessary. The only thing to gripe about is the fragile screen but then, most PDAs will need screen protectors.

The accessories for the Visor Deluxe are kinda pricey but not one has failed to satisfy me. (...). I admit that the Visor Deluxe is a bit thick but it gets the job done quite well. People keep moaning about the plastic body. It's just as strong as metal. Get the clear one or the color type. It looks so awesome. I don't recommend you bounce your Visor on concrete but I've accidentally dropped mine TWICE and the body did NOT even crack! It STILL works. Amazing. The only thing that could impress me is a color Visor Edge for under $400. If Handspring gets one out, they'll drive Palm out of business.

Summary: Good...And Bad
Review: I thought my Visor was great. It was easy to use and it was very easily expandable. I was amazed at how manyt hings I could do on it given the right program. But I had one rather large problem. You see, every unit comes with a plastic cover that snaps on to protect the screen. I thought this was a pretty good idea. But sometimes the clip got stuck in the crack between the casing of the unit. This was never a big problem and I went on using it for a couple months. I didnt think it was a big problem until one day I was taking the cover off and it pried the two halves of the unit apart. It was only open a split second before snapping shut but that was all it needed. The bending caused the screen to break on the inside. After talking to a couple people at Handspring Customer Service, I find that even though it was through a faulty product, I must pay 100 dollars to get my screen fixed. If you are going to buy any Handspring PDA, I suggest you find something to replace the plastic covering as soon as you buy it. While I havnt heard of any other screens breaking this way, others have told me that their covers do sometimes get stuck in between the two halves of the units casing.

Summary: A pleasant alternative to high cost products
Review: 8mb, which are upgradable, with flash memory, giving you an unlimited storage solution. CHEAPER than the m105, yet better , and more functional.Handspring is not only luring hot shot executives, but it is luring everybody, and is making a jump for the young pop culture market.Everything the m105 has + more, it is upgradable with the springmodules, giving you a chance to play games, kkep your agenda, or just simply show it off. Its colorfull variety is more attractive than palm's and cheaper, yet it doesnt compromise efficiency or satisfaction. The spring modules allow you to add anything anywhere, mp3 players, extra memory, dictionarys, cameras, gps, and the list goes on. For anything you imagine expensive and that is availble as a standalone(not reliying on something else , like the springmodules do on the visor)is expensive, but here , for less money, you have the same quality, the modulejust does the work, but the visor supports it, creating its user interface rigth there, without spending more money in expensive lcd color screens on your digital camera. So some springmodules from third partys may be a little overpriced, but you dont get this on palm, not even on the m-505, yet what you save in system price, you cn waste on some springmodules, or save for when they become cheaper. so some sunctions you may never use , and some use everyday, yet you can download many more feATURES FROM THE WEB, and use feATURES ON the WeB.Kid yourself not, cheaper, expandable, upgradable, annd better looking.

Summary: Meets -- No, Exceeds My Needs...
Review: Definitely worth it!!! Has more mb than many of my co-workers Palm Pilot's (not sure which ones they have, nor how old they are). Definitely has more options, with the expansion compartment that is on the back of it, allowing to have more mb, become an mp3 player, a digital camera, and Lord knows whatelse I'm leaving out...nice toy!!! 4 stars because it came late...
