Summary: Need More Memory
Review: Immediately discovered the Palm V's memory is not sufficient tohotsynch the data I wanted to keep handy. Email alone used up so muchmemory (especially those with attachments that I can't open anyway); so I had to either be more conscientious in filing and deleting emails, or disengage the email hotsynch function. I disengaged.

Found through various sources that there are several places to upgrade Palms; and one of the top-rated is palmpilotupgrade.com. Hallelujah! With the upgrade, my Palm V is virtually the equivalent of the Palm Vx.

I've been using Microsoft Outlook for a long time, and it contains all kinds of important data. I didn't want to switch, so I was happy that Palm now accommodates Outlook. END

Summary: Don't buy this, buy a notepad!
Review: I know this is not the longest or most detailed review ever, but here it is: WHY DO THESE THINGS SELL SO WELL? You can do almost as much with a plain notepad, for many hundred dollars less. If you want to look spiffy and professional, this does that, but if you don't care, buy some paper and a pen.

Summary: Love Palm - Hate the Cases
Review: i just got my Palm V, and I really love it. this is my first PDA and i was able to use it fairly quickly. i love the freeware/shareware available for it. two complaints i do have... 1. that "metal" case that 3com makes is really cheap. avoid it like the plague. i broke down and dropped $70+ on the Rhinoskin Aluminum case and it is the best. i totally recommend it. 2. if you are buying the Palm V, just go ahead and buy the PalmVx. I mean really. i have filled 3/4 of mine already and i don't have much on it (Avant GO eats up a bit of space, so does Vindigo if you live in NYC).

Summary: Fantastic Device!
Review: I am getting rid of my 16MB Windows CE device now that I have tried the Palm w/ 1/8 of the memory. It is the easiest device to use and set-up that I have seen. Powerful, Practical and Simple.

Summary: Be careful with the little power button!
Review: This palm product is cool. But Be careful with that little power button! After three weeks of normal use, that small power button doesn't work very well. I have to push it several times and even very hard to turn it on/off. My friend got the same problem with his Palm V.

so suggestions: Don't use that power button too often unless it is necessary, use address book button to turn it on, and let the Palm turn it off by itself. But this very annoying, isn't it?

Summary: The best
Review: I don't know about other Palm's but Palm V suits my need very well. I have been using it for the past 1 month and it's working fine. I even downloaded a clock application that displays time of three zones at a time. It's just fantastic. Now I won't forget the birthdays and important events. I carry it around in a belt case. It's worth the money.

Summary: Not so much fun as indispensible
Review: For those of you still lugging around Franklin planners, Palm (Palm V, specifically) is the solution. With all of 3Com's synchronization possibilities (or 3rd party solutions), there's no reason to retype anything. The case is rugged and stylish, and the size difference between the III series is notable. The 2 megs of memory is plenty for just about anyone.

Summary: Palm V - Enjoyable, a necessity
Review: I got my Palm V when they first came out so i paid twice as much as you are now. Basically the Palm quickly becomes a necessary part of your life. I was by force without and it was like i lost an actual part of my body. useful, comfortable, and convenient. All i want now is color :) Vc come on!

Summary: I can't live without my Palm V
Review: When I first got my Palm V, I planned to use it as an organizer. With free, easy to use and learn downloads, however, it has become an essential tool for applications beyond calendaring and storing telephone numbers. My favorites are Avantgo, an application that allows you to download current headlines and stories from major newspapers and magazines, and Vindigo, a restaurant finder. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

Summary: Good Support & Stuff
Review: I have read the Palm is expensive. But it has a good support team: you can write them and in 24 hours you can get the answer. Also look in the net: a lot of internet sites provide you with faq and free/shareware.
