Summary: I'm newly converted and will never be without my Palm again.
Review: What a great gift for a novice like me. It's extremely easy to use, without even reading the instruction book. I just can't get used to having all the information I need in one place! No wasted moments in airports! Record those tips in the 'Expense' section before you forget them. I'm in love. I did need to buy the Intellisync software to get it to talk to my scheduling software, but it's worth it.

Summary: The only full-featured PDA that's a joy to take anywhere.
Review: Having tried a half-dozen of the available organizers while "on the go", I found several that were full-featured and well conceived. The PALM V was the only one small enough to always have handy the instant I needed it. When I had to rummage through a briefcase to get at my PDA, I most often just didn't bother. This limited both the addition of useful content and the practical access "under fire". Pretty soon I would just leave the damn thing home. Why carry all that extra weight in my briefcase for what had become a limited tool. No matter how many Mega-Bytes you have and how many well designed features, if it's a burden to carry around all day it's useless.

The PALM V is well designed, a joy to use, and light enough to be in your shirtpocket when all you've got with you is in your shirtpocket.

Summary: Show someone you care
Review: In a nutshell, the Palm V is the ultimate gift that you could give to a loved one, a friend, or just yourself.

Summary: The classic Palm
Review: This was one of Palm's real groundbreaking handhelds, with it's sleek case and low weight. Still a great handheld but only has 2 MB of memory and lacks the SD slot that the new Palms are being manufactured with. If you just need a calendar and address book, this will do it, but the m100 will do just about the same (...)(with albeit a much smaller screen). The backlight on the Palm V is woeful like the backlights on all Palms, but is not needed too often.

Summary: I never knew how much I needed this toy!
Review: I love my Palm V! I won it over the internet and now I don't leave home without it! Very simple to use and EXTREMELY useful. I store telephone numbers, my date book, grocery lists, myriads of other lists for work and home, and just yesterday I downloaded a trial copy of SplashPhoto that lets me show a slide show of family pictures on my Palm V. A GREAT electronic toy!!!

Summary: Like it; wish I had a Vx
Review: I bought my V a year ago. I love its size. I take it everywhere. Recently I bought an OmniSky. It's now an indispensable tool again.

The only problem is, I wish there were more memory. Get a Vx or wait for something better if you intend to use it wirelessly.
