Summary: The best handhelp orginizer on the market!
Review: I love it! If you have a Palm III I recomend strongly that you but the V version. It is much more durable and sleeker. And I love that there isn't any batteries that you have to buy. I reccomend it for all!

Summary: THE BEST YET
Review: I LOVE MY PALM PILOT, I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT IT. IF I FORGET IT, I FEEL LOST THROUGHOUT THE DAY. IT IS GREAT HAVING THE ABILTY TO SYNC THE PILOT WITH MY SCHEDULE AND EMAIL. WHEN I AM OUT AT LUNCH OR ON THE PLANE, I CAN WRITE EMAIL AND SEND IT OUT LATER WHEN I SYNC IT AGAIN.

Summary: Absolutely essential in one's life
Review: Can I even begin to describe me Palm V? I am one of those people that has a photographic memory, believes that she can absorb and register all data, including telephone numbers, clients names, addresses, court dates, etc. in my head. At 33 years old, my fiance, a long-time owner/advocate of a Palm Pilot, decided that it was time that I succomb to the world of Palm. I truly don't know how I managed to live without it. Not being a computer guru and never having owned any type of organizer other than a Daytimer that normally remained empty, I was new to this world. Now owning my Palm V for a week and still feeling like a Palm Pilot virgin, I am still learning, but the user friendly graffiti, which may seem frightening at first -- one can truly adapt within hours of using, the ability to HotSync all data from desktop to handheld in seconds including downloading all e.mail into this little piece of beautifully styled equipment - everything on this is beyond user friendly. You will truly fall in love with your Palm.

Summary: almost everything is in your palm
Review: Paml V is my first handheld device. Because of its beautiful design(the size and the weight mean a lot to me), I bought it when it just came out. Regardless all the other Palm models are available on the market, I love my Palm V, and highly recommend to others. Of course, you should get Palm Vx for more memory power. I left my four address books, note and appointment book in my closet. My Palm V goes where ever I go. It is also my alarm clock now.

Summary: Palm V
Review: The Palm V is the sleek sportscar in the Palm lineup. It's light, far more pocketable without a cover and by far the best looking. Trouble is, you have to get a case for it (unlike the other Palms with their built in visors) and it needs more RAM, so consider that you'll be wanting an expansion module at some point. Windows CE fans whine about its lack of color and power, but who needs a desktop in your hand? Ridiculous. This thing is easy and fast at what it does, just like the other Palm units, and that's what you want. That's why Palm OS has dominated the palm device market. Find a discounted Palm V or opt for the IIIx, which is a better buy, or a Visor Deluxe if you can find one. The Palm Vx is a bit steep when you consider the IIIx and Visors. And be sure to browse the net, there's an astounding amount of third party freeware, shareware and software available to do about anything you could imagine!

Summary: Indispensible
Review: I recently switched from my years-old Casio B.O.S.S. because it was dying. Casio's poor support made me look at a Palm and I'm glad I did. The "graffiti" interface was almost effortless to learn, and every function in this gadget has been well-thought out. The interfaces are clean and intuitive. I don't know how I ever got along without one. Even a B.O.S.S. was never this easy!

Summary: Excellent
Review: I been using electronic organizers for three or more years and always had the fear of losing my data. A friend recommended the Palm V and I bought my Palm V two weeks ago. I came to Texas and I noticed that there was a Palm Vx. I felt bad because the new PVx has 8 mb and I just bought one with 2 mb. I still have the oportunity to return the PV and did it. I bought a PVx and I don't go out without it. Its an excellent tool for being organized and now I don't have the feeling of losing my data by using the HotSync. I strongly recommend if you have the opportunity, get one.

Summary: The item needs more memory. 2MB just doesn't get it.
Review: The Palm V, while a great size, needs more memory. I suggest a miniumum 4 MB rather than the 2 MB in the Palm V. The size is great, but we need a little more muscle.

Summary: Tough first week, thereafter an ESSENTIAL tool
Review: I had trouble the first week getting the Palm to hotsync to my Thinkpad, and the Palm 5 even crashed once, losing all my data before the hotsync was working.

Since then this thing has become an essential part of my life. Works like a charm, both the Palm 5 itself and the hotsync too. Address book, calendar, notes... The Palm is easily the best designed hardware/software since the Macintosh of the late 1980's.

By the way, I am also using the Franklin/Covey software for personal management and find this is a nice increment over the built-in daily task list of the Palm.
