Summary: Not The Best One Out There...
Review: This was one of the worst, yet best ideas Palm made.

The screen is smaller than any other Palm, yet it was in color. Also, there were noted problems with recharging. (My wife went through two m130s, that had problems with recharging/losing charge. I ended up getting her the m515 (with no problems).)

The idea was great because it appeals to the young generation, with interchangeable face plates.

Giving it the memory expandability was great, for a little more you could get the m5xx series.

Don't waste you money on any m1xx series. If you want an inexpensive Palm go with:
Monochrome = Palm Zire/Zire 21
Color = Palm Zire 71 or Tungsten E

Summary: Great...when it works
Review: I've owned an M130 for 2 years; its great when it works, which is sporadic. I owned 2 Palms previously and loved both of them. The M130 has been a disappointment since I opened the box. First, I spent an inordinate amount of days charging it and trying to get it up and running. It would not start. After a call to tech support, I was told this was a known bug, but it was not discovered until after the instructions had been boxed. The fix is to hit the reset button while pushing in the start button for around 20 seconds. It shuts down about every other month (usually if the battery begins to get low). However, now it seems unable to be resuscitated, so I have to purchase another handheld.

The cradle was a bit awkward for me to use at first: you push the Palm straightdown, but then to remove it from the cradle, you have to move it forward slightly, then pick it up. I was never able to get the Palm to seat correctly on the serial cradle, but the USB cradle works better.

Since the Palm won't work in the serial cradle I have at home, I only charge it on the weekdays. I use the Palm strictly for appointments and phone numbers...no games. However, all my appointments use alarms, and I have a lot of appointments. Unfortunately, this seems to drain the battery very quickly. A long weekend, and my Palm is dead.

Summary: Awesome PDA
Review: I got this for my husband last Christmas and we literally have had no problems with it! It's simple to use, and we really like being able to view pictures on it. We use it for a shopping list at the grocery store, addresses, games, etc... Anything you can think of you can use this palm with (almost anything) and the price is just right. If your looking for a PDA that is less exspensive but work's really well, then this is definitley a good choice- you won't be dissapointed;)

Review: The order shipped fast and it works great. Came with a disc for instructions but I haven't looked at it yet. This palm pilot is easy to use and came with great accessories. Thanks!

Summary: Great Buy!
Review: I recently purchased the M130 and i am extremely happy with it. Some of the earlier reviews say that the device crashes and that the screen is too small. I think otherwise. The Palm M130 is worth the money.

Summary: My 3rd Palm
Review: I've owned a IIIx (which I loved) and a m105 (which I hated).

This one is the best of each plus color, plus good software.

I was able to get it running in a fraction of the time of the other products so, we'll give Palm credit for increasing quality - so far so good.

Summary: great 1st buy
Review: Although I would be lost without my pda, I'm not sure if I would buy this one again. I've had my m130 for less than a year now. From day one I have never like the way it hooks on the hotsync/charger. A few months after getting it, I already had a crack in the plastic case. Now I have a few (really, I DO try to be careful with it). I also bought this figuring I was set for memory as you could use a memory card. The memory card is SLOOOOOOW! I also had my first major crash last month... thank God for hotsync or I'd have lost everything. My next pda will have more memory, a metal case, a higher resolution screen and possibly even mp3 capabilities.

Summary: GREAT PRODUCT FOR A LOW COST
Review: This is my first PDA and it is great for the price I paid. For me this product is more than good enough because I only use it to remind myself of what I need to do daily. I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Great Product and Easy to Use
Review: I am new to handhelds and I originally was going to buy the lower priced Zire. However, there were several programs I wanted to add that redquired more memory. You cannot update the Zire.

I opted for the M130 and was not disappointed. It is user friendly and great for a novice. The small screen is not really bothersome since you can easily input using your computer and then synch.

I noticed some reviewers said it was difficult to use the stylus on the screen. I have not found this to be a problem at all as it seems very accurate.

My only complaint is having to switch from alpha mode to numeric when inputting. I would prefer to have the screen contain both.

Summary: Great entry PDA
Review: The perfect minimal PDA. The Memory card allows for unlimited data storage. The calender, address list, and to-do lists are basic and all I need for my business.
