Summary: I think it is great
Review: This is my first PDA and I think it is excellent. It runs my programs well and the display is high quality.

Summary: Best of breed.
Review: I've been a PDA user since "the beginning", starting with a Casio model in the 80s. Switching to a PalmPilot in the early 90s, I learned then that moving from one brand to another is a daunting task, though it seems I didn't learn that lesson well enough. I bought an HP Jornada several months back and have played with it since March, trying to migrate my data from the Palm to the HP. [Forget it, it will never be correct no matter what program you use] Giving up, I bought an M130, and boy, am I glad I did. The screen is sharp, the colors are vivid, the processor is fast, the expandability is good, and most importantly, the data migration was *fairly* simple [you cannot beam address and memo data from a Palm III or V, so it must be done via a PC. Synch your old data, save the Palm file with your profile name to your desktop, uninstall the Palm software completely, install the new Palmware, drag the file you saved into the new Palm folder and synch the new Palm....that's it].
All in all, I wish I had remembered the old lesson several months ago....if you have a lot of data, stay with the same brand PDA and make your life simpler.

Summary: Awesome
Review: For someone who is looking for a device that is small and with plenty of room, this little palm is the ticket. With a games card and a new faceplate, your ready to go anywhere. 3 days after i got my palm, i took it to Washington DC, from California. I played on it the whole time, it was just PERFECT.

Summary: First PDA, Not Bad
Review: So far so good. I don't really have anything to compare it with and my computer is in the shop so I have yet to learn how the hotsync works but I love the fact that I have something to remind me of the smallest & simplest things. I love the color screen compared to the grayscale.

Summary: if you use a mac- don't buy this product
Review: i own a mac and got the m130 software installed after only a minute or two (literally). but that was on the 9.2 os. i never use that os and always use the x os which palm says its software should work under. however afer spending 5 hours on my own and 2 with a palm tech the sofware would still not work- that is the hotsync function would not work,, which is pretty important. the m130 looks like a great tool- but not for users of the mac osx

Summary: The Best!!!!!!!!
Review: The Palm m130 is really the best. It has everything that I need. It's not a really fancy palm with e-mail, and internet. It's just the basic, datebook, to do list, adresses, that sort of stuff. There is also a search, calculator, and a back light. You can also install games and other things from palm.com. I reccomend the game HardBall. If you want a palm like the m130 but not in color, try the m100. It is the best, too.

Summary: Defective Palm M130
Review: Though the M130 has nice features at a more affordable price, I am now very disappointed with my M130. It turned out to be defective when using an expansion card. The unit froze and resetting eventually no longer cleared up the problem. I sent my unit back to Palm and they are taking forever to repair my Palm Pilot. If you buy this machine, make sure to test out the expansion card slot as soon as possible so that if there is a problem you can return it to the store you bought it from. Corresponding with Palm has been frustrating.

Summary: Good deal
Review: So it's not the snazziest of the new color PDA's, but it's pretty much all you need. I have to say that I hate the palm OS more than just about anyone, but once you get used to it, you can use it rather efficiently. I basically just use it to keep track of my few appointments and remember what I have to do every day. It's a pretty good deal for such a nice little device, would recomend.

Summary: The life saver
Review: I bought this palm and it basically saved my life. It had everything I needed and more. With backlit display, a usb cradle and a rechargable battery, this item is worth every single cent of your money, the only drawback is that its abit harder to read off the screen when it's sunny
